chapter 9: talking to each other

Picking off where we left off, everyone was dancing and Alvin and Brittany left not knowing the king saw them.

Alvin and Brittany are in another room and Alvin closed the door "what are we doing here" Brittany asked "I want to talk and........spend some time........with you" Alvin replied a little nervous "ok" Brittany said

"my lady, first I would like to say thanks for having the first dance with me" Alvin said

"you welcome your highness, I had fun dancing with you" Brittany replied curtsying

"if you want you can call me Alvin" Alvin said "ok Alvin" Brittany said

"my lady, I am wondering if you can help me with a strange feeling I had a few days ago" Alvin asked "sure what's up" Brittany replied

"I don't know, but this feeling is like I need someone, I like a person a whole like, and when I am near this person I smile and feel so happy" Alvin said confused

"Alvin I know that feeling" Brittany said "you do, what is it" Alvin asked "You are feeling........love" Brittany answered

"I feel love" Alvin said/asked "yeah, when you are in love, you really like a person, and want to be with them" Brittany said

"cool" Alvin said "why did you ask" Brittany asked confused "It's not important right now" Alvin answered before they head out the room

Now Dave is having a conversation with Derek, and his 'bodyguard'(who looks like Cheesy)

"Do you know the girl my son danced with" Dave asked Derek

"I'm sorry you majesty, we don't know who she is" Derek said "Please try to find information on if you can" Dave commanded "yes you majesty" Derek replied leaving

Cheesy looks a little worried "Your majesty, are you ok" Cheesy asked "I don't know, I just have this strange feeling of my son with that girl" Dave said in a sad tone

Here we see Croner leave the ball with a unhappy look on her face. Then we see Alvin and Brittany outside walking and talking.

"should we head back to the ball" Brittany asked

"Maybe........but let's not go back just yet" Alvin replied

after a few steps, Brittany see the look on Alvin's face

"what's wrong" Brittany asked concerned

"when I go back, my dad probably wont be happy, then probably pick some princess that I he will command me to marry" Alvin said a little sad

"your okay with marrying someone like that" Brittany asked "I don't know" Alvin said as they stopped walking

"Surely you have a right towards your own heart" Brittany said "but I put that against the kings wishes, he is a wise ruler, and a loving father" Alvin said

"Maybe he will change his mind" Brittany said 

Alvin the sighs "I fear he doesn't have much time to do so" Alvin said "poor Alvin" Brittany thought

Now we see Dave and Cheesy on a balcony talking while Croner listens to their conversation

"people are saying she's a princess, and the prince seems to take her" Cheesy said

"But what if she isn't a princess and is possible a villager" Dave said

"You have a problem with that" Cheesy asked confused

"yeah, a prince liking and possibly loving a villager, that doesn't and shouldn't happen" Dave said

"well maybe we should let him, he does seem to like her" Cheesy said "I am his father, and I am not allowing him to love someone who could be a villager" Dave said a little angry

then both of them saw Croner listening "Sorry to intrude you majesty" Croner said "no it's not a problem" Dave said

Then Cheesy and Dave leave, leaving Croner on the balcony thinking. Then we see Alvin and Brittany walking near a fountain.

"Alvin, I cant help but noticing you are looking at me strangely" Brittany started "I'm sorry, it's just you look so mush like a girl I know" Alvin said

"Is she here at the ball" Brittany asked "no, I don't think she showed up, and I was hoping she would" Alvin said a little sad

"maybe she had a reason not to show" Brittany said "maybe" Alvin said

then they sit on the edge of the fountain, in a spot were water wasn't splashing

"Alvin is there a reason why you wanted to have the first dance with me" Brittany asked

"there is a little reason why I wanted to dance with you" Alvin replied "what is it" Brittany asked

"Before you showed up, I looked around and there was no one I really wanted to dance with, but then you showed up and when I saw you, I instantly knew that I wanted to dance with you, and I was really happy that I got to have the first dance with the prettiest girl at the ball" Alvin said

Brittany then looked shocked at what he said "you think I am pretty" Brittany said "yeah, If I were to rank all the girls here based on how pretty they look, you would be number one, and you are pretty, but being in that dress makes you beautiful" Alvin said with his heart

Brittany tried not to tear up "Thank you, and Alvin when I was on the stairs, I saw everyone and there was no one I wanted to spend time with, but when I saw you, I knew that I wanted to spend time with you, and I am happy to spend time with (Brittany then scoots closer to Alvin and put her hand on his shoulder) the most handsome boy at the ball" Brittany truthfully lied (She lied because we know she was looking for Alvin)

"You find me handsome" Alvin asked "I truly do" Brittany replied

then the two look at each others eyes, then they start to lean towards each other, they closed their eyes and were about to kiss each other when
