It's hard sometimes - JJ outer banks

It wasn't bad idea

After a few seconds of silence, Kiara decided to say what was going on

"I've liked JJ for almost a year and a half, but please, don't tell him anything" Kie said to me

"No of course not" simply said
"But I have to tell you something, but you have to promise me you won't be mad at me, ok?" I continued

"Yeah sure! What is it?" Kiara replied

"So, you know that I'm sleeping in JJ's room right?" I asked

"Yes I already knew that, why?" She asked

"So... I started to feel sorry for him because he was sleeping on the couch. So last night, I asked him if he wanted to sleep in the room with me" I took a short break before continuing.
"And we ended up sleeping together there, nothing happened but I don't know if we'll sleep together more often. If you feel uncomfortable with this, just tell me and I'll talk to him and I'll sleep on the couch" I ended looking at her

"No, it's not necessary. Really, it's ok with me" Kie said with a fake smile

I noticed she was a little sad but she didn't say anything. When we finished we went back to the boys.

"Hey you two! All good?" Pope asked us.

Me and Kiara just nodded.

As soon as JJ saw me, he grabbed me around the waist, pulling me to sit on his lap.
I looked at Kie right away to see if everything was ok with me and JJ like that.
She gave me a small smile that indicated there was no problem.

"Is everything okay?" JJ asked whispering in my ear

"Yes" I said wispering too

"Okay, cool" he said hugging my waist tighter

I leaned against his chest to get more comfortable as he placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Lovebirds don't mind us here" Pope said looking at us

"Shut up!" JJ and John B yelled at the same time

"Understand that we are JUST friends" I said looking at Kiara who had a sad look with Pope's comment

"Yes... just BEST friends" JJ said looking at me and then to the rest of the group

"Yes sorry, best friends" I said looking at JJ

"Yes of course, let's try to believe" Pope said giggling

"Unfortunately even I think the two of you look good together. You will still end up dating..." John B said with a sad look

Me and JJ looked at each other.
Then I looked at Kie who had a fake smile on her face.

"Rest, it won't happen" I simply said

"It wasn't bad idea" JJ said so only I could hear

I gave him a slight push trying to get off his lap.
He held me tightly so I couldn't get out of there.
He hugged me again placing a kiss on my cheek.
I looked at him and made a little smile, he did the same.

"So, what are we going to do today?" Kie asked seeing us like that

"Good question. I don't know, what do you think about going surfing again since we have nothing else to do" Pope said

"Sounds fun" I replied

"Yes, let's go" John B says as I get up pulling JJ by the hand and while grabbing my board as JJ does the same

We all ran to the beach starting to surf and enjoying the say.
After some time I came out of the water, putting my board in the sand and sitting on it.
JJ came out behind me.

"Is everything okay with you Y/N?" JJ asked me

"Yes, I came catch some sun while I rest for a while" I answered

"May I?" JJ said pointing to my side, asking if he could sit

I nooded my head.
JJ put his board beside me sitting on it too.

"You never got to tell me what was so important that Kie wanted to tell you" JJ said looking at me

"Nothing special" I said looking at him

"Tell me pleaseee... I swear I won't tell anyone, pleaseee!" JJ said with puppy dog eyes

"No, no, no, stop I can't" I said looking away from JJ so I can't see those puppy eyes

"Not even if I kiss you?" JJ asked jokingly

"As tempting as this is, I can't" I said jokingly too
"That's a matter you're going to have to ask her. She then decides whether to tell you or not, but I really can't say, sorry" I continued placing a kiss on his cheek

"Alright princess, I understand" JJ said kissing my cheek back and getting up to sit behind me.

JJ sat behind me grabbing my waist making me get closer to him.
