Nick's POV
"I got something for you, Cass." Sabi ni Tristan pagpasok sa opisina ko. He was holding a big rectangular box. He went to Cassie's desk and put the box there.
"Ano 'to?" Tanong ni Cassie.
"Open it." Si Tristan. Binuksan iyon ni Cassie at inilabas ang nasa loob nun. Cassie held it up. It's a long black dress.
"What's that for?" Hindi ko natiis na magtanong.
"Dude, she's going to the social event with me." Sabi ni Tristan.
I clenched my jaw. Damn that motherfucker! Tristan is really getting in my nerves. I know he's my friend but right now I just want to strangle him. Si Cassie dapat ang date ko sa social event! I was supposed to tell her today. Naunahan na pala ako niya ako.
"Oh my god, Tristan. This is beautiful." Sabi ni Cassie na hindi pa rin tinatanggal ang mga mata sa damit. I could get her a better one! Hell, I could get her a dress tailored by the best designer in the Philippines!
"Glad you like it." Tristan said. Tumingin sa akin si Tristan. "You think it would look good on her, dude?"
Kibit-balikat lang ang isinagot ko. Nagkunwari akong abala sa pagtatrabaho.
"Pero dapat hindi ka na gumastos. I have some decent dress I could wear." Sabi ni Cassie.
"That's my thank you dahil sa pagpayag mo maging date ko sa social event."
"Thank you, Tristan. I love it!" Cassie couldn't take her eyes off the dress.
Cassie's POV
"You look beautiful in that dress." Tristan said as he stares at me.
"Thank you." Sabi ko.
Inilahad niya ang braso niya. "Shall we?"
Ngumiti ako at hinawakan ko ang braso niya. Pumasok kami sa banquet hall kung saan nagaganap ang social event. Everyone was in their fancy dresses and tuxedos. But only one man stood out of the crowd, si Nick. He's holding a glass of champagne while talking to a beautiful woman in a deep red dress with a slit on the right side of the dress. It revealed her long milky leg.
Lumapit kami sa kinatatayuan nila.
"Hey Phoenix, hey Andi." Sabi ni Tristan pagkalapit namin.
"Hey." Walang expresyon na sabi ni Nick.
"By the way Andi, this is Cassie. Cassie this is Andi." Pakilala sa amin ni Tristan.
