First Day

Cham looks over at me and waves, signaling me to come over. I do a light jog while catching my breath as I make my way over to Cham. "What's up faggot." Cham says as he greets me with an ass slap, "Hey man." I answer. "You trying out for football practice today? The new seasons starting." I ask, "Yeah, but if that stupid prick Cole is still on the team I'm gonna kick his ass, he sucks dick at football and nearly makes us loose every game." Cham says. As I'm about to answer the bus arrives and stops in front of the bus stop. The bus driver signals for us to cross the street and me and Cham enter the bus, I walk towards the back of the bus to be greeted by a couple of my friends Sean and Cole. I put my book bag on my seat and sit down next to Cham who shares a seat with me, we all talk on our way to school when our bus stops and a minute later enters some random horse girl who's been riding our bus since 4th grade. She walks towards us wearing a pink shirt and galaxy leggings paired with one cowgirl boot and one sneaker. "What the hell is that?" Cole yells loud enough for her to hear while laughing, me and Cham start to laugh along with Cole as I look over at Sean who has a frown plastered on his face. I brush it off knowing that Sean is a sensitive little bitch who can never take a joke. A couple minutes later we arrive at school and the bus doors open as everyone gets off the bus and heads into school, while walking in with Cham we notice a school poster on the wall "Back To School Dance! Friday 8/20 at 6:30 P:M - 9:30 P.M" I look over at Cham who was already looking at me "You wanna go?" I ask "Hell yeah." Cham answers. I walk into the hallway about to go up the stairs with Cham, Sean, and Cole following me as they all talk, but I'm thinking about the dance. I don't have anyone to go with and there are no girls I like or am even attracted to and I'd rather die then ask out a guy. "Life was so much easier before I found out I was gay over the summer." I thought to myself. Cham notices my frown and wraps his arm around my shoulder, startled by the action I blush turning bright red and quickly turn my head to the other side in fear that Cham will notice me blushing. "Whatcha thinking about?" Cham asks, "Nothing just thinking about how I'm gonna smash Riley after I ask her to the dance." "Shit you're asking Riley to the dance? Okay Brandon pimping." Cham says.

I wave bye to Cham, Sean, and Cole since our lockers are all separate from one another. I place all the my books and school supplies in my locker and keep the ones I need and start heading to first period which is tech class. I walk for a few minutes and walk into the classroom to see Cham sitting there with books and folders placed on an empty seat next to him. I walk over to Cham as he looks up and smiles at me, "Hey man, I saved this seat for you since I knew you were in this class." Cham says while smiling at me, "Thanks." I answer smiling back at him as I set my books down and sit down next to Cham. Class begins and the teacher introduces himself and I look over to see Cham turning the laptops volume up and seconds later pressing the play button on the video. The teacher gets interrupted when Cham plays an android ringtone sound on repeat, Cham has pulled one these tactics before so the teachers eyes automatically wandered to me and Cham while we laugh. We get kicked out of the class and are forced to wait in the hall outside of the classroom, "That was so fucking funny dude did you see the look on his face." Cham says in between small laughs, I smile while staring at him. Perfect. I say in my head, He's perfect. I snap out of my thoughts when the door opens loudly. We were lectured by the teacher and finally got let back into the classroom, we take our seats when Cham hands me a note saying "Can I come over today?"
