Emma and Frank were sitting in their living room. They still look at Valerie's picture hanging on the wall in front of them, wondering where she is and how she is. A doorbell snapped them back to reality.
"Were we expecting someone?" Frank asked. "No" she replied. Frank opened the door and froze. He wasn't expecting this person as his visitor. "Daddy?" Valerie whispered as her tear dropped. "Valerie" They hugged each other tightly.
Valerie finally finished school and she graduated with high grades. She was currently three months pregnant. She wanted to go to college but Niall didn't let her. He said school's diploma is enough for her. He finally gave her the permission to contact her parents and go out on her own. Because he knows she will not escape anymore. Because she was pregnant with his child.
"Valerie?" Emma said shocked once Valerie entered. "Mom" they cried into the hug. "Tell us. How are you?" Frank asked once they sat down. "I'm okay. How about you guys?" She said. "We are okay now that you're here." Valerie smiled at Emma's words. She faced toward her parents' room.
Everything flashed through her head. She still could hear their crying and the gun shot. "It looks like it was yesterday" she said once a tear escaped her eye. Valerie! Jacob! Eyes to the front princess She shook her head and wiped her tear. "I have something to tell you." She said with a smile. "What?" "I'm pregnant. For three months." "Oh my!" Emma said. They all hugged and congratulated her. "My little girl has grown." Frank became emotional. "Dad don't cry. I'm still your little girl." She giggled. Her first giggle after a long time.
It was night time and Valerie had spent the whole day at her parents' house. A specific car honked meaning Niall was here to pick her up. "I should go" Valerie said. "Will you visit us again? Please don't tell me it'll be for too long." Emma said. "No it won't. I'll visit you soon. I promise." "Okay honey" They all hugged and said their goodbyes.
"Hello love" "Hello" "Did you have a good time?" "Yes. Thank you for letting me come here" "No problem at all" he smiled and drove off.

Jacob joined the little meeting. "So?" Henry asked. "If we get rid of their boss then it's over. He has full power." Fred said "Do we have a plan?" Nate asked. "We might" Will said. "Then say it. Let's end Circle once and for all" Jacob said.

"Niall?" Valerie called while sleeping in his arms. She is kinda getting used to this life. Maybe because of their child. Although this doesn't mean she forgot Jacob or she won't think about him anymore. "Yes darling." "Um .. um" "What is it love?" "All my classmates are off to college an-" "I said no. You have your high school diploma. That's enough." He said. "But why? I mean I'm-" "Don't continue Valerie" He said sternly. She dropped the subject. "Don't mention this topic anymore" he said. "okay" she said quietly.
Niall's family have come to visit and stay with them in case Valerie needed help with her pregnancy.
"Ava look" Maura said excitedly. "What?" "So earlier I went to check if Niall and Valerie are awake but they were sleeping, right?" "Yeah?" "Look how cute they are sleeping in each other's arms" Maura showed the picture she had taken of them to Ava. "They're such a lovely couple" Maura said. Meanwhile Valerie was about to pass them to go to the garden but she stopped hearing their conversation.
"That's a good way finessing yourself" Ava said. "Ha?" "Come on mum. Do you really think they're the perfect couple?" "Yeah. Why not? Can't you see how happy Niall is?" "Yeah Niall. But what about Valerie?" "She smiles too. So it means she's happy." "No. No. She smiles through pain mum. She's hurt and she's not happy. But of course our family doesn't care." "Stop it" Maura scolded.
"Do you really think Valerie's happy with her life right now? Do you think she likes being pregnant with Niall's child? Do you think she likes living in this mansion?"
"She doesn't like you as her in law. She doesn't like me as her in law. She doesn't like being a Horan, matter of fact she hates being a Horan an you know it. She was forced to get married and you know it. She was in love with someone else and you know it. So for God's sake don't act like everything is perfect! Nothing is perfect in presence of Circle." Ava said getting frustrated. "Don't say that. If your father-"
"I don't care. Honestly I don't know how Valerie communicates and lives here. She's really strong and she's too kind. I was born a Horan and I hate it. I hate being in this family so I have no idea how Valerie feels and deals with it." She said and walked away.
Valerie heard the footsteps so she hid in the empty guest room. At least one person feels her. At least one person knows how broken she is.
She walked toward the garden and went toward the flowers. Niall was watching her from his office with a proud smile on his face. He was proud that she was his wife and now she's the future mother of his child.
"May I?" Valerie asked the gardener referring to watering the plants. "Of course" he handed her the hand water sprinkler.

Valerie and Matt, the gardener, have become good friends. She always goes to the yard and help him with gardening. Matt is middle aged man who has worked here since he was 18.
"Hi" she said to the flowers. "Can I have a moment with them?" She asked politely. "Of course" he walked away. "Hi plants. You know me by now. I remember you were the only ones I talk to the first days I came to this mansion. Looks like it was yesterday." She smiled weakly.
"I'm getting used to this life now. What can I say? When you live at a place with certain people you kinda get used to it, right?" She sighed. "I haven't fully adapted but I'll try. Because of my child I'll try. It's a good think Ava understands me." She looked around to see if someone is nearby. No one was.
"I miss him. Whatever I see, whatever Niall and I do it reminds me of him. I miss him badly and it hurts. But I have to let go. I'll try. Because of my baby. I will let go of every single memory I own with him."
She got up and handed the sprinkler to the gardener. "Thank you" she smiled softly "No problem at all Mrs Horan. See you tomorrow" he said smiled gently. "See you tomorrow" She walked back inside.
