Iwaizumi's POV
Iwaizumi stared at the ground. "What kind of question is that? Like her? As a friend? Well, duh... or wait, does he mean like... like-like?" (A/N: italicized = character thinking)

"HELLO! Earth to Iwa-chan?!"

He was still thinking about his question, and took too long to answer Seijoh's setter.

"Is that why I got so irritated at the boys teasing Kindaichi? I mean, if he does like her... I would kill him. Wait. What? Why... Why would I be mad if someone had a crush on (F/N)?"

"This silence is killing me!" Oikawa yelled.

"What?" is all Iwaizumi managed to reply.

"Did you even hear what I asked you?"

"Oh right, his question. Why did he have to ask that out of nowhere... he's so annoying."

"Silence again!? I ASKED IF YOU LIKE (F/N)-CHAN, IWA-CHAN! DO YOU HEAR ME NOW!?"

"SHUT UP LOSERKAWA! YOU'RE SO LOUD. I'M TRYING TO THINK."

"Oh, so you do have a brain. I was starting to think you didn't have one." Oikawa then stayed silent, impatiently waiting for him to answer.

Iwaizumi was too busy thinking about his sudden question to hit him or think of a comeback.

"I'm sure he's just asking if I like her as a friend... I'm overthinking." Iwaizumi reasoned with himself. "Of course, I like (F/N). What kind of question is that?"

"As a friend? I'm not talking about as a friend Iwa-chan... do you have feelings for (F/N)-chan? Like more than a friend feelings..." The brown eyed boy stared at him.

"How do I feel about (F/N)? Of course, I like her as a friend, but is there more? Do I like her? Like like-like her?"

"I see how you look at her. You smile at the little things she does, like when she accidentally trips over herself all the time because she's so clumsy."

Iwaizumi started smiling remembering how many times a day (F/N) would trip or almost fall. "She's such a klutz. It's cute... wait, cute?"

"... and I saw how mad you looked when everyone was teasing Kindaichi." Oikawa stated.

Iwaizumi started to get upset again at the thought of someone liking (F/N). The irritation on his face became super apparent.

"Iwa-chan, you were just smiling, and as soon as I mentioned Kindaichi, you—"

"I don't want anyone else to like (F/N)." Iwaizumi blurted out.

"Else?" Oikawa was surprised at what he just said.

He was also surprised at the words that came out of his mouth.

"I don't want anyone else to like (F/N)? Is it because I like her? We've known each other since we were kids, and I've always admired her. The sound of her laugh, how she tucks a piece of her hair behind her ear when she's thinking too hard, when she trips and I have to catch her at times... wait..."
