(Y/N) POV
The sun was incredibly bright as it peaked through your bedroom window. Your eyes flickering open as the sunlight hit your face.

"It's time to wake up I guess." You move your hand around your bedside table trying to look for your phone. You look at the time and it's 11:43am. It's pretty late, but you needed the rest and you're glad you got it after last eventful two days.

You open up Wattpad and read a bit of one of your favorite fanfictions about Aomine Daiki from Kuroko No Basket. Then, you start getting never ending texts from Oikawa.

Oikawa probably left you 50+ messages yesterday, but you didn't have the energy to reply. That... and you were hanging out with Akaashi yesterday.

"Wait Keiji!" You jump up from your bed remembering that Akaashi would be picking you up at 1pm today. You didn't even open Oikawa's texts... yet again.

It's 12:15pm. You rushed to shower and get ready.

Since you were feeling like shit yesterday... and probably looked like it too, you thought you should at least put some thought into your outfit.  It seemed like it was going to be hot out today. So you decided to wear high-waisted woven shorts in an olive color, a black cropped tank, and an olive button up to pull the look together.

You looked at yourself in the mirror while trying to figure out what to do with your hair.

*Ring ring*

Incoming call from Bestie Oikawa

"Well looks like I'm in trouble..." You said to yourself as you picked up your phone from your desk.

"Hello?"

"(Y/N)-CHAN! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!"

You held the phone away from your ear as Oikawa was yelling at you from the top of his lungs.

"HELLO?!" He yelled again since he didn't get a response.

"Oikawa-kun, must you be so loud..."

"Yes, yes I must. Since my best friend doesn't answer her phone when I send her a bajillion texts!"

"Okay, okay. Sorry..." You start to feel bad since he must of been worried.

"Sorry doesn't fix this. Hmph." He said. You could literally picture him on the phone, probably pacing back and forth, pouting.

This was exactly what he was doing by the way.

"Look it's just that yesterd—"

*Ding dong* The doorbell rang.

"(Y/N)-chan, who's at the door?" Oikawa asked hearing the doorbell through the phone.

"Shit. Hold on." You put your phone in your pocket with Oikawa still on the phone.

You ran to get the door. "Hi Keiji-kun!"

"Hey." Akaashi gave you a smile as he stepped inside and took off his shoes before entering the living room.

"Sorry! Can you wait for a minute? I'll be right back!" You gestured to the couch. "Oh, and help yourself to any drinks in the fridge... or snacks... anything!" You ran up the stairs, almost tripping, but caught yourself.

Why are you such a klutz?

You closed the door to your room and took your phone out of your pocket. Before holding the phone to your ear, you could literally hear Oikawa screaming as if his life depended on it.

"(Y/N)-CHAN YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO. DID I JUST HEAR YOU SAY 'KEIJI'? AS IN AKAASHI KEIJI?! WHAT IS HE DOING AT YOUR HOUSE? WHERE IS IWA-CHAN?! (Y/N)-CHAN!"

You took a deep breath before trying to interrupt the angry setter.

"Oikawa-kun, if you would just let me talk..." You took another deep breath. "Calm down."

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN AKAASHI IS AT YOUR HOUSE AND NOT IWA?"

"Maybe if my best friend would shut up, so I could explain. If not, then, I'm hanging up." You started to get irritated as Oikawa would not let you talk, reminding you of yesterday's events with Iwaizumi.

"Okay, I'm calm... Sorry, I'm just confused." He replied.

"I'm guessing you haven't talked to Iwaizumi-kun... So long story short is; I went to Iwaizumi-kun's house, he thinks I like Keiji-kun, I tried to explain to him what happened Friday night, and he wouldn't listen. The end."

"The end?" Oikawa was even more confused than ever right now.

"Yes, basically... the end."

"That's it? So, you gave up on Iwa-chan and got with Akaashi-chan?" He replied in an upset tone, but it didn't seem like he was asking and more like if he were stating a fact.

You were baffled at how Oikawa would assume you were dating Akaashi. "Are you serious right now?" is all you could say.

"What? I mean, that's why he's at your house right?"

"Look, I don't have time to do this with you Oikawa-kun... but I'm upset that you would think I would start dating Keiji-kun out of nowhere. Out of all people... out of all people. You should know how much I love Iwaizumi-kun..." Your voice started to crack, your eyes brimming with tears. "I will always love him." You let out your cry. A cry of anger, disappointment... heartbreak.

Your back to the wall, you slid down, hung up the phone, and weakly let go of it, dropping it on the floor as you cried your heart out.

You didn't forget about Akaashi being downstairs, but you couldn't face him looking like this.

You dug your face in between your knees trying to silence your sobs from Akaashi, hoping he would be unaware of what was happening above him on the second floor.

Not long, your bedroom door flew open.

Akaashi stood there for a second observing your depressed figure, and then rushed to give you a hug. He didn't hesitate and just went for it.

You were surprised at his actions since they were so out of character for him, but you appreciated his presence and comfort nonetheless.

Akaashi, now sitting by your side, held you and tried his best to comfort you. He didn't say a word and just let you cry.

After probably what felt like half an hour, your tears dried up. You cried so much within the past three days that you wouldn't be surprised if you had no tears left. Now, you were just dealing with the aftermath of a sob session aka sniffling and having a slight runny nose.

"Thank you." were the first pair of words you were able to get out. You looked up at Akaashi giving him a faint smile.
