"Marcus stop please" my mama cried out.
"Shut the fuck up" my dad snapped and sent 2 blows to her face, causing me to wince.
"Daddy why won't you stop?" I sniffed and caused them both to look up at me.
"Gio go to bed honey, I'm fine" my mama sat up and quickly wiped her tears.
"But daddy's hitting yo-"
"Go to bed Giovanni" daddy yelled at me, which is something he was starting to do more often.

He cut me off by sending two blows to my face. I dropped to the floor and held my jaw.
"Daddy" I cried, looking up at him before his foot connected with my stomach
"Fuck!" I yelled while sitting up. I was breathing heavy and sweating, indicating I was having a nightmare. This the first time I slept at my house instead of Mani's in a week.
I pulled the cover off and walked into the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror. I shook my head before going pee and washing my hands. After walking out of the bathroom, I glanced at my clock seeing it was 2:13.
I picked my phone up and looked at my notifications.

I rolled my eyes before opening my phone and calling Kayla.
"The fuck is you calling me for?" I mugged her as soon as the call connected.
