Marcy Theme Song Takeover

I came outside of the house with Hop Pop and Polly to do our theme song again. "C'mon, Polly, it's theme song time." Hop Pop explains. "Ugh, does Sprig have to fall on my head every time?!" Polly groaned. "Uh, yes, Polly, Sprig's been falling in your bucket for two seasons." I replied. "I would be surprised if it didn't happen for a third." "What the heck is that thing?" Hop Pop asked, pointing at giant words reading, Theme Song Takeover. "Hey, friends." Marcy greeted, bumping her head on the sign hanging in front of the house. "Hey, Marcy." Polly responded. "You gonna tell us why big floating words are in front of our house?" "Oh, yes, it's finally time for my theme song takeover!" Marcy explains. "Aren't you curious about what I was up to before we met?" "A theme song what?" Hop Pop asked. "Not especially." Polly replied. "It'll make more sense in a second." Marcy explains. "Cue the music!" "Is something supposed to happen?" I asked. "Oh, wait. I have the music. Thanks, Rowboat." Marcy replied, pulling out a wireless speaker and hit play.

Woke up in Newtopia, where I fell down a flight of stairs.

Broke my leg, but luckily, the newts have free public healthcare.

So then I became a loyal ranger, and I fought this creepy cult.

Kept folks out of danger, slaying a killer cobra with a catapult.

I lived on a warship, became a flipwart champion.

Soon I was the King's trusted adviser, I studied salamander brains.

Tried bug appetizers. Yum! And for fun, DMed some campaigns.

"Okay, if you wanna pick up the long sword, I need you to roll for a strength check because your character is like a little wood elf and uh... This'll be fun eventually, guys, trust me!"

I love it in Amphibia, so much adventure still to see.

"Dang, you've accomplished a lot in 3 months." Polly comments. "Well, as the locals say, "You can sleep when you burrow deep beneath the soil."" Marcy quotes. "Amen, sister." Hop Pop said. "What?" Polly asked. "I wouldn't question it, Polly." I replied. "Anywho, I gotta head back to Newtopia." Marcy explains, calling Joe Sparrow and left. "Farewell, my friends!" "Bye, Marcy." I waved. "See you later, alligator." Hop Pop added. "Ah, alligator?! Where?!" Polly panicked. "Don't worry, Polly." I said. "It's just a silly saying we humans use." All of a sudden, we heard some growling coming from the pond. It was a giant alligator. "You summoned him!" Polly and I cried. "I have powers." Hop Pop replied as we all ran in terror.
