The only sounds that could be heard in the painfully cold area were frozen leaves crunching beneath his feet. He didn't like coming here because it was a reminder of the past mistakes he made.
Maybe things would be different if he chose a different path. Although he'd give his all for another try, the world wouldn't let him. It was cruel, really.
The boy held a bouquet with both light pink and darker pink roses, and white carnations thrown into the mix of the two different-colored roses.
He walked forward and placed replaced the decaying flowers with these new ones. It lit up the dull view in front of him.
Another drawn-out exhale escaped his lips, the quiet sounds of his hands being rubbed together being heard. No matter how cold or hot it would get, he'd still come by.
He sat down and crossed his legs, his eyes fluttering shut. He decided to take a road down memory lane. Specifically, he recalled the path which caused his life to become a rollercoaster of emotions.
