Love at Hogwarts // Fred Weasley love story

Chapter 9

(Luminara's POV)
I am now nine months pregnant and any day now I could go into labor so its just a waiting game. Right now I am making my way from the couch to the bathroom to take a shower since I can't do much else. I grab my clothes and start to waddle to the bathroom but stop and gasp feeling a sharp pain strike me fast and hard and then a giant gush of water rush down my legs. "Oh no." I say breathing deeply and lay against the wall. Once the pain stops I waddle as fast and as best as I can and get the note that I have written down and had it to Arron. "Go boy." I say letting him go. Arron flies to the house and pecks on the window till someone takes the letter and reads over it. I breath and waddle around a bit feeling slight pain but drips of water run down my leg and see some blood. "Ooooo okay babies your really late for your due date." I say waddling and hear the door open seeing my mother in law and my sister in law walk in. "How you feeling honey?" Molly asks setting her stuff on the counter. "Okay just feeling some pain here and there and just a lot of water and some blood running down my legs." I say rubbing my stomach and wince. "Well your definitely in labor and your waters have broken no doubt about that. Now all that's left to do is wait till your contractions are constant then its baby time." Molly says getting everything ready. "Someone needs to get in contact with Fred." I say looking at them. "Already did. Relax honey." She says helping me to the bedroom and to just relax and prepare myself for labor and delivery.

(Eight hour time skip...)
It has been eight hours since my waters broke. The contractions have picked up a bit more and are becoming more sharp and quicker causing me a lot of pain. I am in my bedroom with my husband and molly trying everything to keep my pain under control and me as relaxed as possible. "Ooooooo.." I say feeling a contraction hit me causing me to groan and hold onto my husbands hand. "Your doing great sweetie." Molly says rubbing my back. I breath and relax my grip on Fred's hand and look up. "Your amazing. I love you." He says looking at me and rubs my back and kisses my head. I nod and breath deeply and wince feeling another contraction and grip the blanket and groan. "That's a girl. Breath. Your okay." My husband says holding me and rubs my back. I relax and breath looking up at them. "That was a good one. Please tell me its soon time to have these babies?" I say looking at molly desperate to relieve the pain. "Soon. Your contractions aren't as often as they should be. Lets try standing and walking around a bit to help speed the process up." She says. I nod and stand up slowly and feel more contractions and hold onto Fred breathing. "That's what we want." Molly says rubbing my back gently and checks on the twins. "Oooooo. Okay that was a big one." I say relaxing and walk around with help from my husband as I try to get the babies moving so I can get them out.

Three more hours go by and I am in constant and excruciating pain as the contractions get worse and pick up. "Oooooo Merlin." I say leaning against Fred and hold his hand feeling the contraction hit hard. "Alright honey lets lay you down on the bed and lets see what we are working with. Katie go get my bag please and some towels." Molly says laying me down on the bed gently with help from her son. I lay down and breath deeply and groan feeling a strong contraction hit me. "Aye Ahh. Ooooo." I grip his hand tightly and scream then relax my body. "Oh yeah they are ready. KATIE WHERE ARE YOU! ITS TIME!!!" Molly calls. "COMMING!!!!" Katie yells rushing in with everything. "Alright thank you. Now Luminara when you feel another contraction push as hard as you can." She says getting everything ready. I nod and feel another contraction and scrunch my face groaning starting to push gripping my husbands hand. "MERLINS BEARD!!" I scream pushing. "Good girl. Alright take a breath. Your doing beautifully." She says smiling. I take a breath before pushing again. "AHHHHHHHHH MERLINS!!!!" I scream. This goes on for two hours and baby number one arrives. "Here's baby number one. She's so beautiful. Now lets get baby number two out." Molly says showing us our first baby girl and then hands her off to Katie to clean her up. I smile softly having a few moments of relaxation before I feel another contraction and push again to get my other baby out. This only last about ten minutes and I fall back against my husbands arm and the pillow catching my breath and listen to the babies cry. "Good job Luminara. Your babies are healthy." Molly says fixing me up then goes and helps Katie with the twins. "You are amazing my love. I can't believe that our daughters are here. I love you so much." Fred says looking down at me in tears. "I love you too. They are finally here." I say smiling at him weakly in tears. "Alight who wants to hold baby number one and who wants to hold baby number two." Molly asks me. "I'll take baby number two." Fred says holding his arms out for his daughter. "I'll take baby number one." I say sitting up a bit more and hold my arms out. Molly and Katie both lay the twin in our arms and leave us alone for a bit. "What should we call them?" Fred asks looking at me. "Well determining who's who is the first thing." I say looking at him trying to distinguish the difference between the twins. "Well this little one has a little mole on her neck. What about the other little one?" He asks. "This one has a moon shaped birthmark on her shoulder." I say looking at the little one in my arm. "Alright. Now what do you think we should name them?" Fred asks me. "Well I think we should name the one in your arms Autumn and the one in my arms we should name her Scarlett." I say looking at him and gently rock her calming her down. "I love them. Autumn and Scarlett Weasley. Hello my babies welcome to the world." He says gently rocking Autumn and calming her down. I smile and look down and smile kiss Scarlett's head softly as the rest of the Weasley's come into the room. "They are so adorable. Have you come up with names for them yet?" Ginny asks. "We have. Guys meet Autumn and Scatlett Weasley." I say smiling at them tiredly and show them. "I love those names. How you feeling sis?" Katie asks smiling and looks at me. "I'm okay. Tired but okay." I say looking at her tiredly. "Can we hold them?" George asks. "Of course." Fred said handing Autumn to George and Scarlett to Ginny. "Lets let the parents rest for a bit." Molly says once everyone other then ron holds the twins and puts them in their rockers. I smile tiredly as everyone leaves and slowly close my eyes not able to fight the sleep taking over my body. "Rest love. I'll be here." I hear Fred say covering me up with a warm and fluffy blanket as I sleep tiredly.

A few hours must go by because I am woken up by loud crying and my husbands voice. "What's going on? Are the babies okay?" I ask waking up and look over at him. "I don't know." He says handing me the twins gently. "Awww babies are you hungry?" I ask gently holding both of them and notice them making sucking motions. "What's wrong with them?" Fred asks me. "Here take Scarlett and just rock her. I'm going to feed Autumn." I say gently handing Scarlett to Fred and then start to feed Autumn. Autumn calms down and eats hungrily and moves her tiny hands. Fred gently rocks Scarlett calming her down a bit. As I am feeding Autumn I hear a knock on the bedroom door causing me to look at Fred. "Who is it?" Fred asks. "Its just Molly Fred." I hear Molly say. "Come in mum." Fred says as the door opens and Molly walks in with a tray of food then shuts the door once she was inside. "I brought some food for you guys figuring you would be hungry. Looks like the babies are eating." She says helping me support Autumn while I feed her. "Yeah I woke up to them crying and figured they must be hungry." I say finishing feeding Autumn then hand her over to Fred and take Scarlett and start to feed her. Fred takes her and burps her while I continue to feed. "Yeah. You are doing amazing by the way." She says smiling at us both. "Thank you. I honestly don't know the first thing about being a mum." I say feeding Scarlett. "No one knows anything about being a mom. You learn as you go along. All you need to know is that your kids just need love and care and the rest will follow. Believe me when I first married Arthur I never thought I would have seven kids. I thought it would stop at Charlie but nope. Anyways the point I'm trying to make is that I didn't know anything about being a mum but I knew that my kids needed love and care and everything else just fell into place. Even to this day I am still learning." She says pouring some tea for us. "I honestly am so thankful you are here. I don't know if Fred and I could do this without all your support." I say looking at molly. "Aww honey thank you. I try my hardest to make sure I take care of my kids." She says looking at me. "Yeah that's for sure." Fred says causing me to smack his arm. "Fred Weasley." I say looking at him. "Sorry." He say gently rocking Autumn to sleep. Autumn falls asleep snuggled into her baby blanket as her father lays her down in the rocker. I nod and finish feeding Scarlett and burp her before putting her to sleep and handing her over to Fred. Fred smiles and takes her and lays her down in the other rocker. I fix myself as Molly gives us some food which I take with pleasure and eat it hungry. "Woah slow down there love." Fred said eating his food slowly. "You try being in labor for eleven hours and ten minutes and then breastfeeding two infants." I say looking at him. "Fredrick Giddion Weasley! Leave your wife alone." Molly says looking at her son. Fred stops and looks down eating his food. I finish eating and stretch setting my food off to the side and yawn. "I think you both should get some sleep." Molly says taking the empty plate from me. "Sounds like a good idea." I say yawning and lay down again and slowly close my eyes. "I'll join too." He says crawling in next to me. "Alright have a good nights rest." She says leaving with the empty plates on the tray and shuts the door behind her. Fred and I both fall asleep not realizing how tired we both were until our heads hit the pillow.

About two hours go by and I wake up to hearing my husbands voice and look over seeing him shirtless with the twins on his chest. "You two are so pretty just like your mummy yes you are." He coos holding them. I sit up slowly and smile gently watching him with the twins. Both the twins stretch and yawn sticking their tiny tongues out at him. "Well this is cute." I say watching them. "Oh look you two mummy is up. Lets say hi to mummy." He says smiling and looks at me. "Hi my babies." I say taking Scarlett and laying her on my chest and rub her back gently. Both the girls stretch and make little noises as they lay against us. "Yeah I know. We are comfy." I coo gently and rub Scarlett's back. "Your doing great my love. See I told you you were going to be a great mum." He says smiling and looks at me and lays down next to me holding our other daughter autumn. "Mmmmmm thanks." I say looking over at him and smile tiredly. "Your welcome." He says leaning over and gently kisses my head then looks at me. I smile and look at him with a tired smile and continue to rub Scarlett's back. We spend the rest of our day relaxing and taking care of the twins with Molly constantly making sure we are fed and comfortable. The rest of the night goes by smoothly and before we know it we are all asleep and in bed. I am so happy that my babies are finally here.
