As we finish our last movie for the night, I see that Rose had fallen asleep, I carefully put her head down off my lap and put it on the couch.
Me and Scarlett took care of dinner and I did the dishes while Scarlett took Rose up to bed.
Once I finish the dishes and take care of them Scarlett comes back downstairs, "you should invite her over for dinner" she says as I put the last plate away.
"You want to meet her?" I question
"Well if she's dating my daughter and maybe more, then I want to meet her" she states
"You just called me your daughter" I speak
"Y/n I have seen you as my daughter sense day one but, have you guys, you know" "oh god no" I interrupt "Me and Faith have only been dating a couple weeks, and-" I stop "and what y/n" "and I haven't felt comfortable to even shower with her, expesually after what John and his friends have done to me, I'm scared"
I say with tears in my eyes "y/n even if what has happened to you didn't happen you are to young to be- you are 15, there's no reason to go fast" she says as she wipes my tears.
As we head upstairs Scarlett speaks "invite her over for dinner tomorrow" "are you sure" I ask
"Yeah" "hey Scarlett?" "Yeah y/n" "I love you"
"I love you to, now got to bed"
As I get ready for bed I text Faith and tell her what me and Scarlett had talked about, she said that she will be here tomorrow around 6, I then go check on Rose, then I go to bed.
-next morning-
I wake up and of course Rose is in bed with me. She somehow ends up in my bed every night, I'm ok with it though.
I do love being a big sister.
