"Rex" Ezra shouted to Rex as he and Sabine walks up to him. "Sabine went to clean just when we saw this picture".

The picture showed him when he was young with his squad and his beloved husband y/n and his old squad.

Flashback

Back in the clone wars rex was behind his hansome husband you.

You two fell in love with each other more than anything and fought by each other's side.

Then one day during battle you got shot and rex ran to your side and held you in his arms.

"My love" he wispered trying not to cry.

"Rex," you coughed putting your hand on his cheek "it's okay, death is another way of life .....and you'll live to fight..... I'll see you again soon." You closed your eyes and took your last breathe as rex didn't let go.

End flashback.

Rex looked at the picture and smiled.

"Rex?" Ezra said

Rex looked at the others who were standing there.

Rex smiles "in the time of the clone wars I married an amazing man. Who taught me anything I never thought I needed to know. Most of all how to love"

"Where is he now?" Zeb asked.

"He died during the clone wars" rex said feelings tears in his eyes. Then looked at his friends "want to know more"

They all noded as Rex tells the story about yours and his life.
