tum kyon chale aate ho
har roz in khwaabon mein
chupke se aa bhi jaaon
ek din meri baahon mein•••
Waking up to feeling a heavy weight on her body was something Anabiya wasn't used to. Much to her inexplicable stupor, she found her dearest husband's head nestled under her neck as his warm breath fanned her steady rising bosom.
Anabiya admired his sleeping form wide eyed, Meezan usually slept with a tower of pillows taller than the wall of china between them because he was too afraid to think he would invade "her space". Anabiya had undeniably scowled the first time she saw him do this, but said nothing.
It was usually how it went, Meezan and his beloved pillows occupied minimal; one-third of the bed with Meezan sleeping at the edge while Anabiya occupied the majority of the bed space.Anabiya grinned wide as she softly removed a strand of hair that was falling above his closed eyes. Yes, he was trying a little harder and stepping out of his comfort zone since yesterday but she could bet her life he didn't purposefully wrap himself around her like a koala bear. He had probably done in unconsciously in his sleep and she knew if he woke up right now he would freak out and refuse to face her for the rest of the day. But, Anabiya decided to test her chances as she laid still, pulling him closer and burying him under her neck. He shifted quietly with a moan as he hugged her tighter putting his huge leg across her torso.
Anabiya mutely chuckled as she placed a chaste kiss on his tousled bed hair. Now that she thought about it, Anabiya couldn't help but feel ungrateful and guilty for forcing the guy to do stuff he wasn't comfortable with. Yes, Meezan was an incredibly shy and non-romantic man but he was the best thing that could have ever happened to her. He was always mindful and respectful to her and her needs. He put her even before himself and Anabiya seemed to have grown to admire this quality of his.
He wasn't one to do huge romance filled escapades but he did thousand small gestures in a day that only seemed make her heart lurch out.
Like, everytime they had breakfast back at home, he would cut out the corners of her bread and smother them in butter and nutella, just like she liked it. Everytime they went out to get icecream which was atleast once a week, he would order her an extra scoop even if she insisted on getting one or two. One night, it was freezing, the coldest night of the month and she was too lazy to put on her socks so after she slept all cuddled up in the blanket, he had taken it upon himself and slipped socks on her feet.
These were just barely the peak of things her darling husband had done for her. She was seemed beyond ungrateful to think about it now, her man was a god-damn saint. He had coddled her like a baby since she had become his wife.
The sudden urge to pee had somehow settled in her bladder, but the thought of disturbing the cherished moment over consumed her. Groaning Anabiya tried carefully prying away Meezan from her body but, suddenly the oversized man jolted awake hitting his head on her chin.
"Oww!" Anabiya groaned getting up as her mortified husband scampered away pulling away at the bedsheet to his chest like it was his only saving grace.
"W-what were you doing?!" Meezan screeched petrified, just like Anabiya had predicted.
"Shield your modesty, Kaneez Meezan. Her Royal Highness has to pee." Were her famous last words as she rushed into the ensuite bathroom and closed it shut, red with embarrassment, cursing her forsaken bladder.
