It was midnight, the darkness was almost absolute, only a smattering of luminous stars scattered the inky rich sky. Even the moon had waned to almost nothing.
Dina Farooqi , was all set to run away. She had done foolproof planning and there were no loopholes to it except one; Yaseen Hamidi.
She was a little anxious since her whole plan was built around that useless ball of horse poop.
She slipped out from her house, as silence marred it's every corner.
Rahim Chacha; the watchman was snoring away like his life depended on it, while his cat; billo rani kept meowing and hissing upon seeing her. After safely exiting the premises of her house, she sighed in relief. She tucked her head inside her One Direction hoodie and walked towards her next destination; Hamidi Villa.
Never in a million years, would have Dina imagined herself to be doing such a ridiculous thing.
But, desperate times called for desperate measures.
Tomorrow was her nikkah to Zeeshan Abdullah, and that was precisely the reason for her abrupt departure.
Zeeshan Abdullah, was a decent guy to say the least. An opthamatholgist by profession , who loved speaking in dad puns. He was pretty average by looks too, nothing special. From, the few times Dina had seen him, he only wore his pearly white lab coat and oiled hair to one side.
Marrying him wasn't a problem for her. She knew she had to settle down one day. But, not so soon. She still hadn't finished her college. Yet, her mother seemed too adamant to even consider her choices.
Dina could quote the exact words said by her mother dearest.
"We won't find a better proposal later, Zeeshan is in demand, since, he is a doctor. His mother told me a lot of rishtas have come for him."
Dina could only scoff at her mother's choice of words. It had seemed as if Zeeshan was a product on sale.
Dina frowned upon reaching the Hamidi Villa. Outside the Villa stood Yaseen Hamidi, who was seated on two huge blue suitcases. His eyes cladded with sunglasses as he was scrolling through his phone.
Stray dogs were barking at him, but that fancy boy seemed to not mind one bit. Yaseen Hamidi was not only quite desired in the female population but also amongst dogs.
Marching towards him Dina kicked away the suitcases he was sitting on causing Yaseen to fall straight to the ground, yelling in pain.
"Yaseen!" Dina snarled, "Have you packed for the entire village?!"
Yaseen glared at her , fixing his shades .
"Pagal aurat." He mumbled getting up."Answer me you, freaking jaahil."
"I haven't even packed half of my stuff. Stop insulting my feelings." Yaseen pouted , picking up his suitcases.
Dina rubbed her forehead in frustration, this night was going to be really long.
"Alright, where is the rented car? You ordered it didn't you?"
