Hadley's POV

It's been a hectic few weeks to say the least, I knew Mystic Falls was nothing but drama even before all the supernatural bullshit came to town but with Rebekah in town, humanity less Stefan and all the others it seemed like there wasn't ever a normal quiet day in this town anymore and to make matters worse we found out Tyler is sire bonded to that maniac Klaus and lately it was like walking on eggshells around him especially when Rebekah was always at our house corrupting him into drinking from people and I was powerless to stop it.

Elena had nearly died by being roasted in Alaric Saltzman's car when they tried to capture Stefan by that stoner Vikki Donovan who I'd never liked even as a kid and seemingly less so now as a ghost but Bonnie had sent the bitch away and of course Elena was safe and so was Stefan meaning he was still running around.

To make matters worse I'm also exhausted since I'd had to turn the other night in the Lockwood cellar chained to the wall to prevent myself from doing something stupid seeing as I still didn't have a real plan to avenge Mason and to make things even worse there was yet another founders party, this one celebrating 'The Night of Illumination' another stupid celebration about the eradication of the vampires 160 years ago.

I wasn't all the impressed by all the preparations and lucky Carol hated me enough not to ask me to help out with it all so I was hiding out in the Mystic Grill letting my fake ID get me all the drinks I wanted to make this day more tolerable while also subtly avoiding Tyler a little, I still loved him but he was insufferable lately.

"Hey" I held up my hand for another whisky when I saw Damon and Alaric take a seat next to me making me roll my eyes especially when Damon winked at me, we hadn't officially met and I was keeping it that way but he knew I was Tyler's sister and ever since he returned from his road trip with the Devil bitch Katherine as they looked for a way to kill Klaus which in my opinion couldn't come any quicker that way I could have my old brother back.

"Mason" my head snapped up at Alaric's words ready to glare but I froze seeing why he'd said that name.

"God I miss whisky" I looked him up and down but his focus was on Damon as he drank out of the whisky glass that was Damon's before smashing it against the vampire's head and I laughed since he bloody deserved it.

"Told ya" Damon said to Alaric but I wasn't paying attention to them anymore since Mason turned to me with a smile

"Told ya" Damon said to Alaric but I wasn't paying attention to them anymore since Mason turned to me with a smile.

"Hey Hothead" he smiled at me and I rolled my eyes at the nickname.

"Mason!" I exclaimed jumping to my feet and moved in for a hug but I paused since I thought about how he was really here.

"It's okay" he laughed and wrapped his arms around me and I actually felt it, I knew there was no way he was really here...alive but I didn't care. "I missed ya kid" I laughed hugging back tightly.

"I missed you to, so much you couldn't believe" I laughed finally letting him go before ordering some shots since what the hell and we threw them back with a laugh after clinking them together.
