Hadley's POV
I felt the heaviness in my head as I slowly woke raising my hand to the back of my head remembering the pain there before my eyes widened when I felt nothing, not even the pain as I shot into a sitting position seeing I was laying fully clothed in my clothes from...the council party but when I turned to the alarm clock on my bedside I frowned seeing it was 8:48am...the next morning.
"Hadley?" I turned towards my bedroom door and saw Tyler standing there with a worried look on his face.
"How the hell did I get home?" I asked him swinging my legs over the side of the bed standing up surprised by how good I felt.
"Klaus...he brought you home" he replied and I suddenly understood his worry and why I felt good.
"Oh god...he didn't...did he-"
"No" Tyler replied and my shoulders sagged in relief but how could he be sure, I'd passed out right in front of him, I remembered now...I was yelling at Klaus before I passed out which meant he had the opportune moment to make drink his blood and kill me.
I turned looking around my room before walking over to my art stuff and picked up a pallet knife and sliced across my hand ignoring Tyler's protests but I stared down at my hand and counted to an entire three minutes before I sighed in relief when it didn't heal.
"What the hell, why didn't he turn me?" I asked confused looking up at him.
"Your complaining?" he asked quirking an eyebrow at me.
"No but I just don't understand, the dude had literally been turning werewolves from every state but when he has one literally fall unconscious at his feet he doesn't take the opportunity, it would have been all too simple for him" I argued frowning since the truth made me feel a whole lot worse than if he had actually turned me in my vulnerable state.
"I say we just don't question it, save him from changing his mind" Tyler replied and I sighed nodding my head agreeing with that before I remembered something else from last night and crossed the room just to swat him upside the head. "Hey!"
"What the hell were you thinking biting Caroline?!" I yelled at him.
"That's the thing Hads, I didn't think...it was like I had no control of my body when it happened" he argued and I growled out.
"It's the damn sire bond, whatever that maniac asks you to do no matter what you say you'll do it" I sighed sitting down on my bed rubbing the back of my head not feeling a remanence of ever hitting my head which still concerned me a little since knowing my luck the damn bastard did force his blood down my throat but just didn't kill me to turn me. "We have to find a way to break it"
"How?" he argued and I frowned since I had no idea but we had to find a way somehow.
"I've no clue but we'll find a way okay" I told him standing up and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Your my little brother and I'm gonna get you out of this, I promised" I sighed before I went over to my desk and sat down going to the good old internet search since I knew some legends bore into truth...like the sun and moon curse even though it proved null to all of us and was that egotistic' curse alone to bare and he manipulated generations of werewolves and vampires to find his ingredients for him.
I spent a whole two hours looking on the web for any legends mentioning anything about a sire bond but nothing and Tyler was doing nothing to help, he was just laying back on my bed tossing a football in the air when I suddenly got an idea and spun to him.
"Didn't you tell me once that Caroline's Dad had been able to resist compulsion" I spoke up and he sat up seemingly thinking about it before nodding. "The sire bond, it's like compulsion, Klaus tells you to do something and you do it so what if we could train your will to resist the sire bond"
