Hadley's POV
I have spent the last three weeks trying to hunt down my brothers, going from state to state...to state asking any pack of werewolves that I could find if they'd heard of my brother but it was like chasing smoke and I was beginning to lose hope since it seemed like Tyler just really didn't want to be found and I hated him for it.
I stopped my car off to the side of the road and checked the map that I'd drawn on labelling every state that werewolves were known to reside and frowned at the next town closest...New Orleans...Hayley's potential family but they were the closest rumored werewolves and I wasn't giving up on Tyler which meant I had to suck it up and just go ask around town.
I put the map down and drove into Louisiana, New Orleans once again heading straight for the familiar town since I'd been here briefly when I was hunting Hayley down but didn't stay long only enough to know where to get the best food and I was starving so I stopped my car getting out and headed in 'Rousseau's' and immediately headed for the bar and ordered the New Orleans special of gumbo and a shot of scotch.
"Hey Jane-Anne, right?" I asked remembering her from the last time I was here, she gave me the information on where Hayley was and I knew she was a witch.
"That's right, you were here looking for your friend...Hayley was it?" I nodded my head smiling at her. "So did you find her?"
"Yeah, didn't end well" I shrugged throwing back my drink quickly near coughing at the burn in my throat from the strong liquor before I tucked into my food, near wolfing it down I was so hungry, apparently hunting down my wayward brother was messing with my appetite because I seemed to always be hungry and finished my food in minutes.
After I'd eaten I went out and started looking all over for the werewolves but for rumors there didn't seem to be any trace of werewolves anywhere and I looked for 2 days but came up with nothing and I was beginning to think that the news of werewolves in New Orleans was old and that they'd moved on so I was leaving but had stopped for more of Rousseau's gumbo since the stuff was amazing and it's pretty much all I'd been eating since I got here.
"Third day in a row" Jane-Anne smiled at me as I sat at the bar.
"What can I say, I like the gumbo" I shrugged.
"The old ladies in the ninth ward say my sister Sophie bleeds a piece of her soul into every dish" she smiled. "What can I get you?" she asked and I thought about it since maybe she could help confirm that there weren't any werewolves around these parts.
"You know I could actually use a little help" I trailed off looking around first. "Witchy help" I whispered and she looked up surprised. "I know you're a witch and that you probably know what I am, I'm looking for a pack rumored to be living in New Orleans, do you know where I can find these guys, if they're even around anymore?"
"People like you were run out of here years ago" she replied making me frown but she grabbed my map which I'd placed down and circled an area out in the bayou. "In the bayou, they call the werewolves, Rougarou...you head out there you'll find what you're looking for" I looked down at the map quickly before I stood and threw down some money plus a tip for the info. "Be careful, it's the last place you'd ever wanna go" she warned placing her hand on my shoulder.
"Thanks but I don't scare easily" I left and got in my car checking the map so I knew where I was heading when my passenger door suddenly opened making my eyes widen especially who climbed into my car before they narrowed as I glared since she had a lot of nerves. "Get out of my car Hayley" I should've known she'd be still sniffing around here for her parents.
"What did Jane-Anne tell you?" she asked ignoring my warning.
"Do you really think I'd help you"
