Jungkook went through the crowd to find his hyungs. He bumped on V, and said him that he's leaving with Mia. V used a chance to tease him: "Wow, that is so cute! Walking on a moonlight is really romantic, also, something might fall in her eye again, so you should be there just in case!" he said, laughing.
"I told you, we're not even friends. I'm just gonna walk her home, because she's drunk and stuff. Oh, hyung, isn't that girl over there Yuna?" said Jungkook. When he heard Yuna's name, V's eyes widened and he blushed - Jungkook was amazed. You don't see V blushing everyday. V walked to their friend from the class, while Jungkook was smirking. He knew that Yuna will be there. Mia called her. When he realised that Mia might won't wait for him, he run to their table - fortunately, she was there, looking at her phone.
"Yah, transfer student! Let's go!" he shouted and grinned at her, happy because she actually waited for him. She got up and they went out of the club, into the silent night.
They enjoyed beautiful view of Han River under the moonlight. It was almost midnight, and the city sparkled with lights of street lamps, cars and buildings. Everything was perfect.
"You know, this is first time I'm actually enjoying your company." said Jungkook after couple minutes of silence.
"Same here. Obviously one of us should be drunk if we want to get along or something." she said and he chuckled. He watched her - nothing showed that she was drunk. She was walking normaly, only difference was that she was tolerant towards him.
"Hm, Mia, can you remember where you live?" he asked slowly.
"Of course I can. I told you, I'm not that drunk."
"What about your parents?" "What about them?" "What should I say when they see you drunk?".
She laughed and said: "Absolutely nothing. They're in America right now." He was relieved. He didn't actually want to meet her parents in the middle of the night, while he was bringing their drunk daughter home. It wouldn't leave good first impression at all.
She took out keys from her pocket and stopped in front of big, white house. Jungkook was suspicious: "Are you sure this is your house? I don't want to get in trouble beca-"
"Oh, shut up. This is my house, look at the name on the gate: Kang! I'm not an idiot." she interrupted him. Then she unlocked the gate and standed next to it, looking at him. He looked at her too, wondering what she was doing."Yah, are you really stupid or you're just pretending? I won't wait the whole night for you. Do you wanna come in or not?" she said, slightly annoyed.
Then he remembered what that Luke guy said about her messages: she felt lonely. He went in the house and looked around - it was really pretty. "Do you want something to drink?" she asked him. He ignored her question and asked her another one: "Do you realise that we're talking normally to each other for the first time since we met?" She glared at him: “If you keep ignoring my questions, it could be the last!" she said and made him laugh.
She shook her head and went in a kitchen, followed by him. Jungkook wasn't sure what should he do - alcohol could start working in her body any minute. She really drank too much this night. He carefully watched her every step and she noticed that.
"What?" she said.
"Nothing." he answered. She raised her eyebrow and glared at him, causing him to chuckle. She rolled her eyes and then she felt dizziness. He came near her and asked her if she is okay, on which Mia replied with one short nod. "I think you should go to sleep now. You're gonna faint." Mia realised he's right and headed towards her room, followed by Jungkook. She felt worse with every step she take, and she hated it. She started laughing without a specific reason and when Jungkook asked her what's so funny, she said that the fact that alcohol starts working on her an hour after she takes it is really funny.
"Yeah, it's really funny, now go and change your clothes and call me when you finish." he said and closed the door of her room.
