Jungkook sat down on his chair and buried head in the hands, trying to calm down because of what just happened. He couldn't believe that Mia left him, moreover she said that he was playing with her. And it was all Sojin's fault.
At the same time, Mia was in school toilet and Yuna hugged her while she was crying her broken heart out.
"Listen, Mia, I'm sure you're wrong. Jungkook is not that kind of person..." Yuna said, trying to comfort her.
"He is, Yuna, and you know that. You know him longer." said Mia after she wiped out last tear, and Yuna sighed. Mia was right - Jungkook was that kind of person before he met Mia.
"Come on. We'll be late." said Mia and they went in a classroom, where V was looking his best friend who didn't move since he came in the classroom, he didn't even speak a word. V tried to talk to him, but Jungkook held his head with hands while his elbows were resting on the desk and stayed silent. When Mia and Yuna sat on their chairs, V saw that Mia's eyes were red from crying.He looked at Yuna, completely confused, and she took out her phone and send him a message with an explanation.
"We need to solve this." he replied, and the teacher came in so he tapped his friend's shoulder, trying to warn him. Even though V whispered him that teacher's in the room, Jungkook didn't show a sign that he heard it - or that he cared about it. However, they had class with professor Choi, and she noticed that something was wrong with her favorite students. It was bad for professor that have favorites, but they were only ones in this class who knew English, and there was something in them - they were really mature. But now, Jungkook was burying head in his hands and Mia was hiding her eyes, pretending that she's reading something on a blank page in her notebook.
"Jeon Jungkook, I'd really appreciate it if you concentrate on the class." professor said, and Jungkook finally raised up his head, showing his expressionless face. "Thank you." she said again, and started a lesson. After classes, Mia found Namjoon and told him that she can't come at computer room today, and he nodded and went to tell it to the rest of BTS . They were already there, sitting and talking. Jungkook was, however, sitting and looking at a wall, not saying a word. Hyungs noticed that something was off, but V showed them that they should shut up. When Namjoon came in and said that Mia canceled their meeting, Jungkook closed his eyes and sighed, then got up and stormed out of the room. His hyungs were confused and V explained them what happened earlier that day, shocking them.
"I already told her that Sojin is devil... We need to do something about this. I never saw Jungkook like this..." Namjoon said and they all agreed. Jungkook was never upset like this.
Jungkook slammed the door of his house behind him hard and sighed. He never felt like this before, like he was breaking into pieces. He headed towards his room, hoping that he will find something which can distract him from thinking about Mia, but when he saw his bed, he had a flashback - Mia lying next to him there. He couldn't stand it anymore, so he went out to buy her a gift - it was her birthday tomorrow, after all.
Tomorrow at school, Mia came in the classroom and saw a couple if presents on her desk. She gasped and when she was about to lift one, someone wrapped arms around her. She frozed, but then she heard Yuna's voice shouting "Happy birthday!" and smiled, mentally punching herself for thinking that it could be him. She sat down and opened first present - from Yuna. It was supercute phone case with their picture printed on it, and beautiful shirt she noticed in a mall couple days ago.
Next was from V - "Paper towns" from John Green which she planned to buy and a scarf that combined with Yuna's shirt perfectly. Next present was from the rest of BTS - she laughed when she saw it - in the box were all albums from BTS, their official lightstick, shirt with their logo on front of it and her name on the back and chopsticks- she told them that she always somehow lose it.
There was one present left, and she didn't know whose gift was that. She opened the box and gasped, widening her eyes - it was professional drawing equipment. There was a lot of different pencils for different kinds of drawing, notebooks, rulers, markers, brushes etc., all placed in separated parts of box, depending on their purpose. She couldn't believe her eyes - it was the best present she ever got. Then she noticed something on the bottom of the box - something was written there. "You never were my toy. Happy birthday." she read, and sighed, closing the box. She should've known who knew her so well and bought the perfect present. She turned around to see if he is in his chair, but he wasn't there. V noticed her look and sighed.
"He left the present and went out before I got here." he said.
"He's probably with Sojin right now." Mia said coldly, and stood up. She needed a fresh air, so she went to the window and opened it. When she looked down on the school yard, she frozed. She saw Jungkook, talking to Sojin. She quickly closed the door and went back to her seat, anger building up in her. He made her look like a fool - she couldn't stand it.
Jungkook was standing in front of Sojin, trying not to yell at her.
"You ruined everything. EVERYTHING. I hate you. I would rather kill myself than talk to you again, because you are awful and completely stupid person. Don't ever come near me, or I will make sure that you regret it. Get it?" he said and turned around, leaving Sojin alone on the gate. Jungkook didn't go to classes that day. He was on rooftop whole day, thinking about what he should do now. Actually, he didn't go to the school until the end of the week. On Saturday, V went to Jungkook's house and found his best friend sleeping in his room. Jungkook suddenly woke up when he heard footsteps, and sighed when he saw it was V.
"You scared me." Jungkook said, and V glared at him.
"Says the person who's not answering the calls and isn't coming toschool."
"I can't go to school. I think I'm sick." Jungkook said and stood up.
"You're not sick. It's called heartbreak. There's over million songs about it." V said and Jungkook glared at him, making him laugh. Suddenly, V's phone rang.
"Hey, Yuna, what's up?" V said, smiling, and Yuna said something that made him frown.
"Sh*t! When?" he said, closing his eyes. "Okay, thanks. I'm with him. Yes, I will. Love you, bye." he finished, sighing.
"What happened?" Jungkook asked, worried because of V's expression.
V rubbed his temple, trying to find the words.
He finally said: "Mia. She went to America one hour ago."
