Mia stared at Sojin, trying to come to her senses.
"Can I help you?" Sojin asked, smirking devilish.
"No, I-I just..." Mia mumbled, and Sojin confidently continued: "You should understand - there's a difference between me and you. The sooner you realise that, the sooner you will be over him. You are with him at school, but at home he's mine. That's the difference. You entertain him, I make him happy. There's a difference between a simple toy and first love. Get it?" she said and closed the door.
Mia felt like her heart was literally falling apart - this was the very first time in her life when she allowed someone to see through her cold mask - to see her heart, and now she was left with a broken heart and mistrust in every single peace of her shattered soul. She may looked pathetic, but it was truth - Jungkook was the first guy she was in love with. She had boyfriends before, but it was nothing like this - she distanced herself from the feeling to avoid the thing that's happening to her right now.
She run towards her home and locked the door behind her, immediately turning on the music player - sad songs were her way to escape the reality. "Eternity", "Don't leave me", "Lies", "Be the light", "Shadow", nothing could help her forget how her heart was aching.
What's happening to you, Kang Mia? she thought and went in her room, taking pencils and rulers - she will start a drawings on another wall.
While she was trying to collect her broken heart, Jungkook went out of the bathroom, thinking about Mia and smiling. He finally realized what he should buy to her for her birthday and it made him happy. He was about to call her and see if she wants to go to the cinema, when he heard someone's footsteps in the kitchen. He went to see who it was, and when he realized who is the person he was looking at, his boyish smile replaced total anger.
"What are you doing here?!" he shouted snd Sojin chuckled.
"You can stop with your play-pretend game, that annoying girl won't bother you anymore.I told her what she is to you." Sojin said and smiled, approaching Jungkook. He stepped back and glared at her.
"You what?! What did you say to her?!" he shouted again, trying to calm down himself.
"I told her that a toy can't compare to first love." Sojin said confidently, and he closed his eyes, trying to decrease his anger, slowly sighing.
"If you know the difference between a toy and first love, WHY ARE YOU STANDING IN MY KITCHEN INSTEAD OF HER?!" he yelled at her because he couldn't suppress his anger anymore.
"Yah, you don't need to yell at me. You told me that I am your first love, don't you remember?" Sojin answered, smiling.
"I told y... When did I say such a stupid lie?" he asked, rising his eyebrow.
"On school trip, three years ago." she said and he facepalmed himself.
"Sojin, are you insane? Stupid? It was a dare from Hoseok - I had to choose between sleeping in the same room with Namjoon and that. And trust me, his snoring is not a joke. He sleeps alone.Yoongi slept in his room one night, and since then he's not same. Sometimes he has nightmares because of it. Anyways, I told you that it was a dare. You're real pain in the a*s, you know? Now leave, I don't want to see you anymore!" Jungkook shouted and pointed on the door.
She was shocked - she really thought that she was his first love, that's why she got back to Korea. She went out his house, and Jungkook picked up his phone and called Mia, shaking his head because he learned her number by heart. He waited, but she wasn't answering. He called her again and again, but she didn't answere. It scared him, and he decided that he needs to go to her house - she was obviously ignoring his calls. At the same time, Mia was drawing on her wall and looking at her phone which was ringing. She checked the callers ID, and she saw familiar name, so she just ignored it. Everything between her and Jungkook was over, whatever was that thing they had. It wasn't relationship - she was his toy. It was the game, right?Jungkook went to her house and knocked on the door, but there was no response. He knocked harder - still nothing. He knocked again, and when he realised that she won't open the door, he went home worried.
Tomorrow morning, Jungkook went in school earlier, hoping that he will have a chance to talk to Mia before the class starts - he need to explain her everything. Luckily for him, she was already there, sitting next to Yuna. He approached her, and she looked at him coldly. He knew that look - that's how she looked him when they just met in the hallway on her first day in school.
"We need to talk." Jungkook said, and Mia raised her eyebrow.
"I'm sure we don't." she retorted, and Yuna left, leaving them alone.
"Yes, we need to. Everything that Sojin told you is a mistake and I-"
"It's not a mistake. I understand everything. This game between us is over, okay?"
"Game?! What are you talking about?"
"I'm your toy, so- Ah, no, no, no. I was your toy, so it was a game."
"How can you say that it was a game? How can you say that? If you care about me even little, how can y-"
"I don't. Now move. I need to go and find Yuna - she will worry about me. Oh. Sorry, I don't know why did I tell you that. How can heartless Cazanova know how it is to worry about someone?" she said with disgust in her voice and walked past him, while he was trying to come back to his senses.
The only girl that ever made him change just left him because of the things he wanted to change.
The only girl he ever loved was hating him.
