When Jungkook was about to retort to Mia, they heard Suga's voice: "Ah, look at this lovely couple." BTS headed towards the two of them and laughed at Suga's statement, while Jungkook was sending death-glares to his hyung. "Why are you looking at him like that, Kookie? Who said Suga is talking about you two?" added V, making boys laugh again. Jungkook was really annoyed now, all he wanted is to go to the club and forgot what just happened. So did Mia. "Yah, Mia, you look amazing!" said Hoseok approvinly. "Thanks, you look handsome, guys." she said smiling. "Yah, Hoseok, you better take care, by the look in Kookie's eyes I can tell that he's planing your murder right now." said Jin, causing 6 of them to laugh again. When they stopped laughing, Namjoon said: "C'mon, don't tease him. Mia will feel uncomfortable.", and when Jungkook was about to say thanks, Namjoon added: "You can tease him when Mia's not around.", earning another round of laughter from guys and another set of death-glares from Jungkook.
While they were walking to the club, Mia was talking to Rap Monster about their webtoon, and they were little ahead of everyone else. Jungkook was thinking about what Mia said him earlier. He knew that she was teasing him, but she made him ask himself would he hug her again. When they finally were in club, they agreed where will their place be and soon almost everyone went to the dance floor. Around the table were only Jimin, Jungkook and Mia. They were just sitting and enjoying the flashing lights and loud music. Namjoon brought drinks, and everyone gathered again - it was time for the toast. Namjoon lifted his glass of vine and said "Cheers for our webtoon and our new, beautiful friend, Mia!". Everyone rised their glasses and shouted "Cheers!". Then again everyone except Mia, Jungkook and Jimin went to the dance floor. They talked about random themes, and Jimin suddenly noticed Chaerin, their friend from school, and excused himself: "I'm going to dance with my dear, lovely friend, Chaerin. Have fun!"
Mia and Jungkook were left alone, but it didn't seem like she noticed that fact. Jungkook was watching her every move. She was drinking her vine, glass by glass. Jungkook was confused. Is she trying to get drunk? "Mia?" he said, after he sat next to her. "What?"she retorded. "Are you okay? You should slow down with drinking, you'll get drunk."he said carefully, seeing that she's already drunk. "Why do you care, when I don't? Don't pretend we're friends, just keep being arrogant as you are." she blurted. Something was off. He could feel it. She rested her head on a table, and Jungkook took a chance and grabbed her phone. When he unlocked it, he saw messages with "Luke". They were talking on english, but Jungkook knew english too, and soon he realised why she was so sad. He read two messages that Luke sent earlier that evening: "That Korean girl is boring. I thought that she will leave me alone when she go to Korea, but couple days ago she sent me a message about how lonely she is..."
“...She also wrote about some guy from her class who is bothering her. Dude, what should I do? She thinks that I'm still her best friend." and next: "Mia, sh*t, I'm sorry... This wasn't supposed to be sent to you...". At that moment Mia snatched her phone from Jungkook. "Is privacy foreign word for you?" she said, but he could see that she wasn't mad. Her eyes were sad, her attitude was unrecognizable - she didn't even scold him for reading her messages. She excused herself and left to the toilet. When she got back, she told him that she already paid for their drinks because she wants to apologize for her early leaving. "You're really gonna leave?" asked Jungkook. "Yeah, I'm not good company right now. Tell the guys I'm sorry." "I'm walk you to your home." She glared at him: "Yah, I'm just little drunk! I know where I live!". He laughed: "I didn't say you don't, you idiot. It's not safe for a girl to walk alone at night. I'm gonna say to my hyungs that we're leaving, don't go anywhere."
