"There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment." – Sarah Dessen

"Little scout, please, na?" She pleaded with faiza. "He's been begging me to go out with him, and I don't want to go alone. Can you please come with me?"
Faiza raised an eyebrow, clearly unenthused. "Sorry, you said? You want me to tag along on your date?"oh Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a date... but yeah, something like that."
Husna rolled her eyes in annoyance, sparing Faiza a withering glare. "You know I don't want to go with him. He's been disrupting my 21 year peaceful life!"
Faiza chuckled. "Ah, come on, Husna! I'm trying to help you out here. My boyfriend is coming over that day, so what do you want me to do? I can't just ditch him.
Husna bit her lip, clearly hesitant. "I don't know... I just can't go out with him alone. It's not right."
"Wait, let's have a double date instead!" Faiza exclaimed. "I'll help you out, sha. Tomorrow morning, we'll go to the masjid together, take some pictures, and send them to him. What do you think?" She winked mischievously.
Husna looked taken aback. "What pictures? He's my brother, nothing else, I swear!" She mumbled quickly, trying to clarify.
"Did I say there's something going on between you two? Or is there something cooking that I need to know? I just suggested we take a friendly photo together, nothing more!"
Husna rolled her eyes in annoyance. "N-nothing, I swear. Stop teasing me!"
Faiza stifled her laughter. "Tell me the truth, hussy. You look like a frightened chicken right now!"
Husna sighed, exasperated. "Fine, whatever.
Faiza grinned. "And on the second day of Sallah, I'll choose the clothes you'll wear, and we'll go to a studio for a little touch-up. Trust me, it'll be fun
If I call you tomorrow, please tell me you've changed your plans,"You'll definitely see how I'll grind you in a grinding machine!"Husna stood up, laughing. "Oh, faiza, you're not serious, are you?" She exclaim escorting faiza outside.
"I'm totally serious! You'll see! I'll make sure to grind you into tiny pieces if you don't change your plans!"

The next day, on Eid, her phone rang, displaying Hameed's name on the caller ID. She hesitated for a moment before answering.
"Assalamu alaikum, Asma," he mumbled in his deep, calm voice.
"Wa'alaikumu salam," she replied nervously. "Eid mubarak!"
"JazakAllah khair, same to you," he responded. "Are you going to the masjid?"
"Yes, Faiza will be taking me with her," she answered.
"Oh, okay," he muttered , pausing slightly. "Kinyi kwalliya sallah dai koh?" (Did you do your Eid makeup?)
She rolled her eyes, irritated. "What's it to you if I did or not?" she thought, but pretended not to have heard him.
"I thought all girls usually paint their faces for Eid, but you haven't done any. Did you braid your hair?"
Did you cut your hair you?she questioned and gasped, covering her mouth in shock at her own question. She mentally cursed herself for asking something like this .
He chuckled. "Yeah, it's Eid, and I didn't want to look messy like someone.
And who's that? You mean me, right?"
He let out a laughter I didn't mention that
She quickly cut off the call, glaring at the phone. "I don't have time for this," she thought, feeling annoyed.
She then focused on getting ready for Eid, wearing a beautiful atamfa orange outfit with a touch of sky blue and white, complete with a skirt and blouse. As she finished dressing, her phone rang again. She knew it was Faiza and answered the call.
"Hey, Faiza! What's up?" She asked.
"Hey, girl! I'm outside your house. Come on out, we're going to the masjid!" Faiza exclaimed.
She rolled her eyes Typical Faiza, calling me when you're already inside the house!" She laughed and grabbed her hijab, ready to head out.
She carried her phone and rushed out her parents and siblings, heading to the nearby masjid where they usually prayed together. But today, she is missing. "Hussssssssssssna!" Faiza yelled, searching for her friend."I swear, you must have rubbed powder on your face today! It's Eid, after all!" Faiza exclaimed Faiza dragged her back to the room,.
You're behaving as if you're not a girl! I can't even remember when last I saw you wearing powder. You're beautiful, but you have to wear powder, and I swear, tomorrow we're going to the makeup studio!"
And your hair needs a touch up too! So, after prayers today, I'll take you to the salon."Faiza finished her scolding , and Husna wisely remained silent, knowing that responding would only fuel the fire. Faiza get her ready rubbing powder, applying kohl, and lip gloss. Faiza exclaimed, "Perfect! Shall we go?" and they headed to Sultan Bello Central Mosque in U/Sarki.
After praying, Faiza drove them to a nearby salon, where Husna's hair was styled to perfection. They then visited a spa, where she felt utterly relaxed and rejuvenated.
As they settled into chairs for a pedicure, Faiza clapped her hands together excitedly. "I'm just waiting for tomorrow; my sweetheart will be here!" she squealed, hugging Husna tightly from behind and breaking into a traditional Hausa song.

Stop it!" Mama needs to get you married seriously.
Please help me pass the information to her, because I'm eager, unlike someone." Kiyi mani biyaya I should set up up with ya Hameed "Although Shima Naga Kaman ya kamu I've never seen a person like you... Your whole 21 years of living, my hussy, you're single. Are you scared of men? If someone hurt you, it doesn't mean the next one will."
Husna rolled her eyes and pressed her lips together, unimpressed by Faiza's matchmaking attempts. Faiza's phone rang, and she excitedly answered, "See, my habibi is calling! My girl, I pray Yaya Hameed confesses his feelings."
Husna shakes her head, amused by Faiza's dramatics. After a long day, they returned home exhausted and burned out. Husna lay on the bed, closing her eyes, ready to rest.
