I leaned on the chair letting out a sigh as I closed the book with a thud then I silently stood up as I returned the book on the shelf then made my way out of the library. As I walked silently and peacefully someone walked beside me

"Done reading some shitty love stories 'nerd'" I turned to see a tall muscular man with blonde hair and light blue streaks with eyeglasses displayed on his eyes.

I stopped in my tracks, my social anxiety was starting to rise as my insides started shaking, I pursed my lip into a tight line as I averted my head away from him my (h/l) (h/c) fell down covering my face. 

"Ah... Uhm... Y-Yeah" I stuttered, I wanted to walk away so bad but my feet was nailed on the ground. I'm not really used talking to other people and I don't know what this guy wanted, he's been talking to me or should I say bullying me for being a 'nerd'

Well actually I don't wear any glasses and I don't know what made me a nerd? Maybe it's because I read a lot of books but that doesn't make me a nerd does it?

"Hey!" I snapped out of my trance as I turned to him, just looking at his purple drowsy eyes I feel like jumping into a hole and never come out "Are you still there 'nerd'" He firmly stated the last word then I turned to the side averting from his gaze

"I'll be going now!" I hastily mumbled about to run when he wrapped his fingers around my wrist pulling me to face him "Don't tell me you're shy?" He smirked then I could feel the heat creeping up to my face just feeling his minty breath on my face.

"No! I... I wasn't!.. I was.." I panicked as I tried to explain that I had to go home cause my Aunt and cousin are waiting for me at the house and everything. It was chaos! and a complete embarrassment! I think my face is blowing up cause I could feel my face burning.

"Haha what's with the full details? I didn't asked why you were going home!" He laughed hysterically "You should see your face!" He laughed

Damn it! Could someone shoot me in the head! 

He kept on laughing as I stood in front of him still flustered and embarrassed... I turned my heels as I started walking away from him.

He's such a weirdo! I don't know if I'll be grateful that I saved him that day?! It's too late for regrets!

Flashback

I went out of the library with the book that I just borrowed from the library, hugging it in my chest as I peacefully walked. I took a turn on a silent street.

It was peaceful and it was already night time! I got so engrossed on that book that I read earlier that I forgot to check the time, It was about a famous delinquent who fell in love with a normal girl, The girl understood the boy and loved him and so did the boy but sadly their love story ended up in a sad way! The girl died and the reason why I couldn't check the time was.....

I was crying in the library! 

I shook my head as I smiled the embarrassing thoughts out of my head.. 

When I took another turn someone suddenly appeared, panting as his eyes landed on me.

Is he a bad buy! He was wearing a hoodie as he stares at me for a while. then I could hear someone yelling far from us as he looked behind him then he turned to me real quick pulling me towards the dark alleyway as he cornered me. 

"Go with the flow" He said in a demanding voice then my eyes widen. "I-I'm sorry you must've had the wrong person!" I said my voice trembled as I leaned back at the wall, my body was tense. 

"I didn't ask who you were just stay right where you are" He looked at me with threatening eyes, then loud footsteps could be heard. My heart started beating loudly.

I should've gone home earlier! Dang it!

I hugged the book tightly as I prayed again and again.

'Please be gone! Please be gone!'

I could hear someone's booming voice "Where the fuck is that kid!?" 

The guy took his hoodie off his head as he tilted my head to the side and then suddenly I could feel a pair of lips on mine. Stunned by the sudden action, My mind couldn't progress anything, it was blank.

"Search that alleyway!" 

My knees got weak and I could feel my face heat up, the book fell out of my arms as I tried to push the boy but it was futile he held my hand stopping it. 

Did he just steal my first kiss?! 

"Hey!" The guy broke out from the kiss as he looked at the man who tapped his shoulders glaring at him. 

"Who are you?! Can't you see I'm having a fun time with my girlfriend?" He glared at the man threateningly. 

"S-Sorry" The man raised his hands up as he walk away "He's not here Boss! Just a couple who's making out!" He reported then I could hear retreating footsteps

I raised a finger to my lips as I touched it. "Tsk! Damn those guys! I'm gonna teach them a damn lesson tomorrow" He mumbled then he turned to me noticing that I was still there.

"What's with that book!" He picked the book that was on my feet. 

"Mysterious Detective? Are you a detective wannabe? Or are you a nerd?" He raised a brow. I snatched the book out of his hand 

"Hey! By the way thanks for the help" He snickered as he ran away.

End of Flashback

Well I didn't really help! I was forced to! I should regret not going home early that's why starting that day I always go home in the afternoon not at night anymore!

But I kept on bumping into him and starting that day he suddenly started calling me 'nerd' and 'weirdo' cause everytime we meet I always have a bunch if books in my hands
