Chapter 21: If He

"Ta-da!" The little girl smiled widely as she spread her arms up.

"Me and mama have the same dress!" She stated then her mother went behind her as she carried the little girl up.

"Aren't my two ladies pretty" The man smiled as he walked towards his wife placing a gentle kiss on the woman's lips.

"Eww!" The little girl scrunched her nose as she stick her tongue out.

"Mama wipe your mouth!" The little girl said as she lifted her little hand up to wipe her mother's lips.

"Why you-" The man tickled the girl making her laugh hard as she hugged her mother.

"Oh- Dear!" The woman chuckled as she hugged the little girl tight.

The man stopped as he laughed then he looked at the little girl. "Mommy why did you like Daddy?" The girl asked curiosity was evident on her face as she looked at her mother.

Her father gasped at her question as his mouth gaped. "Well at first I thought your father was a jerk but then soon after I fell in love with him" Her mother answered but the curious look on her face still didn't faltered as she grew more confused.

"Well let me tell you this even if that person has the most rotten attitude in the world if you love him then you'll accept his true self and a day will come that that person would change just like your father" She turned to look at her father who was already sulking.

"He was such a jerk when we met but he slowly changed, especially when we had you. He became more kind" She added. The little girl smiled as she replied.

"I want to find someone like Papa!"

Her father who was once sulking turned serious as he stood in front of his daughter. "No (Y/n). I'm quiet flattered that you want to marry someone like me but always remember that you have to find someone whose a good and a responsible man" Her father said as he tapped her tiny nose.

"Okay!" The girl smiled showing her pearly white teeth.

(Y/n) slowly opened her eyes as she looked at the familiar ceiling. She was inside Mitsuya's room and she was on his bed.

She slowly sat up as she rubbed her eyes then she turned to the window and saw that it was already bright outside. It was already noon.

She slowly put her feet down as she stood up then she opened the door as she head towards the kitchen but stopped as soon as she heard a familiar voice. She stood still as she listened to their conversation.

"I was worried, I kept on looking for her ever since this morning and I still couldn't find her" Asami wiped her tears as she sniffled.

"Why would she leave?" Mitsuya asked as he put the plate with sunny side up eggs on the table.

"I don't know why but she was kind of jealous of me because she just suddenly started to slap me and then afterwards she started to beat me up so I defended myself" She sniffled then she lifted her arms up.

"See that? That's the bruise she put on me"

"Oh" Mitsuya lifted his lids up to see his cousin standing in the doorframe.

"(Y/n)-chan, good morning. I cooked some eggs" Mitsuya flashed her a smile. Asami flinched as she slowly turned her head behind her to see the (Y/n) who just walked pass her.

"(Y-Y/n)-"

"Don't play nice Asami. It doesn't suit you" (Y/n) monotonously said, not bothering to glance at her.

"It's-" She didn't continue when (Y/n) lifted her lids as she stare at Asami coldly.

"Why is Asami here?!" Mana and Luna who appeared in the kitchen glared at Asami who gasped as she stood up.

"Get out of here! You're not welcome here!" Luna yell as she ran towards me.

"How dare you hurt our (Y/n)-nee!" Mana said as she clenched her jaw. Both of them were glaring at Asami.

"Don't bother (Y/n)-Nee and Brother! Get out!" Both of their voices boomed inside the room. Asami was embarrassed as she bit her lip.

"I was here to find her actually. I was asking Mitsuya-kun for help" She reasoned. The two didn't listened as they kept on glaring at her.

"GET OUT!" The two yelled in unison making Asami dash out of the house. Mitsuya just stood silently as he leaned on the counter.

"Mana, Luna you shouldn't yell at someone" She gently said making the two look at her.

"Even if he or she did something bad you shouldn't hate them no matter what. Always learn to be kind and forgiving" She said putting a hand on top of Luna's head.

"You're too kind (Y/n)-Nee. If you keep on being like that people will take advantage of your kindness" Mana heavily sighed then she walked towards the chair as she sat on it.

After their lunch, Mana and Luna played in the living while (Y/n) was washing the dishes. Mitsuya who was silent since earlier spoke up.

"(Y/n), what's your relationship with Haitani Rindo?" He asked making her stop from her actions as she turned her head to look at Mitsuya.

"Are you dating?" He asked making her gulp. She looked to the side before answering "I wouldn't call him my boyfriend since he didn't ask me out but- it's related to it" She replied then she turned her eyes back to Mitsuya who had a serious look on his face.

"(Y/n), do you know that he's a dangerous person?" Mitsuya asked, she silently nodded in response.

"Do you love that man?" He asked, she looked to the side as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath then she opened her eyes as she looked at Mitsuya.

"Yes" She replied. Mitsuya smiled at her answer as he turned his back.

"If he makes you happy then I'm not gonna stop you but- As your cousin I want to protect you and I don't want anything bad to happen to you so If he ever do something that would bring harm on you I'm going to make you break up with him or of best avoid him. If he ever does something that is" He said emphasizing the word as he began to walk.

"Mitsuya-kun" She muttered then a small smile formed on her lips.
