I held a couple of books as I walked on the corridor. Peeking at the side as I stopped in front of the door. I lifted my foot up to open it since my hands were occupied. While I was struggling the door slid open, I turned to the right to see Katashi-kun holding the door.
"You should've asked for some hand." He smiled as he took a couple of books out of my hand after proceeding inside the room.
"You're always helping Katashi-kun" I said as I followed behind him. He giggled as he put the books down the table.
"And you're always doing things on your own. It's okay to ask for some helping hand you know?" He gently said as he smiled.
"Thanks for helping me again" I said bowing my head.
I walked out of the room then outside Rindo was standing.
Was he here the whole time?

(Y/n) sat on the grass while Rindo was lying down her lap with his eyes closed but he was fully awake as he listened to the story she was reading.
Rindo opened his eyes as he sat up making the girl stop and look at him.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked as she put the book down her lap. Rindo turned his head to look at her.
"What do you think of Katashi?" He asked. A visible pink tint appeared on her face. "W-Why do you ask?" She asked.
Rindo looked at her and said nothing, the light of the color of the sunset shone on the side of their faces.
"W-Well-" She paused as she lifted her finger up to her cheeks, shyly scratching her cheeks. "Katashi-kun is very kind, sometimes he helps me with stuffs and he's a really kind gentleman. Every girl would be lucky to have him" She replied, ending it with a smile.
"Then-" Rindo paused as he directly looked at her eyes. "What do you think of me?" He asked. The pink tint on (Y/n)'s cheeks turned into a deep shade of red as she let out a shaky breath.
"W-Well you're a great friend sometimes!" She quickly replied. Rindo scowled as he raised a brow up. "Sometimes? What about the other times?" He asked as he stare at the girl hard.
"Sometimes you can be a jerk but I'm used to it. Sometimes" She said whispering the last word.
"Tsk! Whatever!" Rindo stood up as he clicked his tongue firmly. He wouldn't admit it but he was discouraged by her answer.
"Rindo-san" She called making him look down at her. "How about you? What do you think of me?" She asked, then suddenly her eyes widened as she quickly stood up waving her hand.
"Ah! Never mind!!!" She yell.
"Well, you're an idiot who's very clumsy and a very good for nothing reader who sleeps in the middle of the story" Every word he said felt like there was an arrow striking your heart as you looked down in discouragement. "Sorry" You mumbled.
"But- you're the first girl who would face me head on even though you're afraid" He snickered as he slid his hands in his pocket. "And I admire you for that" He added.
It was followed by silence as the two of them stared into each others eyes. The tension grew awkward for the both of them but for someone who's watching it they would say it's romantic.
"L-Look at the time! Haha I should go to work now" She spoke breaking the awkward silence as she let out an airy and awkward chuckle.
"Y-Yeah you're right" Rindo replied.
"I'll get going now" She said handing him the book which he hesitatingly grabbed.
"I'll take you there" Rindo said as he looked at her. "No! It's okay! I'll be fine!" She insisted as she bowed her head. "Bye!" Then she scurried away.

While she was walking home a figure emerged from the dark revealing a tall and slim man. He looked at (Y/n) with a lustful look then he looked at the necklace she had.
"The young lady was right" He laughed as he walked approaching the girl who was trembling with each step she was taking.
"Nice necklace you have there little missy" He roughly said with a grin on his face whilst walking towards her. (Y/n) lifted her hand up as she clutched the necklace then she took a deep breath.
Without any second thoughts she ran as fast as she could. The man behind her licked his bottom lips then he started chasing after the girl.
'Why does it have to be at night?!!! Why does it have to be me?!!' She cursed under her breath as she took a turn. She was about to cross the bridge when suddenly she tripped over.
'Why do I have to trip over! Damn feet!' She groaned as she pushed herself up from the concrete but then the man who was now in front of her grabbed a handful of her hair as he roughly lifted her up.
She cried from the pain she was feeling as tears brimmed in the corner of her eyes.
"Lovely necklace" He chuckled then he licked his bottom lip as he looked at her face "And a lovely young lady for the night"
He leaned forward as he sniffed her neck, then he moaned in satisfaction as he looked at her. "I think I got myself a jackpot. I have to thank that young lady later" His grin grew wide as he threw her towards the hard ground.
(Y/n) groaned in pain, feeling her consciousness was about to fade but she fought it as she pushed her self up once again when suddenly there was a snap heard and before she knew it the necklace was already in the man's hand.
"P-Please not the necklace" She begged, teary eyes as she sat up, shaking her head as she looked up the man.
"Please" She whimpered.
