Chapter 14: Drunk

I arranged the chairs after cleaning the whole classroom up whilst waiting for one of my classmates to return since he was out buying something. But it's been half an hour since he gone out.

Maybe he tricked me? I sighed as I continued to arrange the chairs. Suddenly the sound of the door sliding was heard.

"About time you came, I'm almost done." I trailed off when I turn my head to see Katashi-kun. He looked around the classroom then his eyes landed on me.

"Did I disturb you?" He asked, flashing a gentle smile at me.

"No" I replied whilst shaking my head.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" He asked.

The both of them sat down the staircase as Katashi handed her a little carton of strawberry milk.

"Thank you" She smiled as she opened the little cartoon after taking a sip.

Katashi drank his chocolate drink then afterwards he let out a sigh after he spoke. "Asami dumped me"

After hearing the sudden news, her eyes widen as she turned to Katashi, who looked down with sad eyes.

"I thought I gave her everything but I guess it still wasn't enough" He sighed. "Maybe I was a bad boyfriend" He added letting out another sigh.

"You're wrong! You're a great person, You don't need to waste your time on people who don't deserve it. For me, You deserve to be loved so get someone who deserve your love too" She comforted as she gave him a comforting smile.

Katashi smiled as he looked at the girl. "If only Asami was like you then maybe it could work out"

(Y/n)'s eyes widened as she let out a shaky chuckle. She was about to open her mouth to speak when a voice interrupted.

"You're not hers and she not yours" Rindo appeared as he grabbed (Y/n)'s hand pulling her up to go behind him. He glared at Katashi who stood up and glared back at him.

"You're hurting her" He chided. Rindo snickered as he hardened his glare at him.

"The fuck do you care?" He sarcastically said as he pulled the girl to follow after him harshly.

"(Y/n)-chan!" Katashi pulled her making Rindo stop in his tracks as he turned his head to glare at Katashi coldly.

(Y/n) who already knew what Rindo was capable off turned to Katashi as she gave him an assuring smile. "I'll be okay" She said.

Katashi looked at her as he hesitatingly let go of her hand. "If does something to you-"

"It's okay. He won't" She smiled then Rindo proceeded to pull her.

As soon as they were outside the school grounds, (Y/n) pulled Rindo to a halt as she panted. Rindo turned to look at her with a cold glare.

"Are you gonna go for him?" Rindo asked.

"What are you talking about?" She asked in confusion as she looked at Rindo's eyes.

Rindo walked close to her as he looked down at her.

"You like Katashi right?" He asked, (Y/n) was startled at his sudden question as she choked in her own saliva.

"What are you talking about?!" She whispered-yell.

"I knew it" He mumbled. The wind blew on them as the scent of alcohol filled (Y/n)'s notrils.

"Are you drunk? Did you drink?" She asked as she tipped her toes to sniff Rindo.

"You like him" He mumbled. (Y/n) put her foot down as she picked her phone up.

"Good thing I saved Ran's number when he gave it to me-" She couldn't finish when Rindo snatched the phone then he raised it up.

"Wha-?! Hey! I'm gonna call Ran so that he can come and get you!" She groaned whilst tiptoeing to reach for her phone that was raised up.

"Give that back!" She groaned as she pulled Rindo's arm down but she couldn't move it even for an inch.

"Hey-" Suddenly Rindo leaned down making her stop and suck her breath in as she froze in her actions.

Rindo looked at her lips, the lips he once kissed when they first met and the lips he almost kissed when they were on the park. It reminded him of it. He wrapped his free hand around her waist to stop her from stepping back as he leaned even close.

"R-Rindo-san you're too close" She informed as she put her hands down pushing Rindo for a bit.

Rindo said nothing as he completely closed the distance between them, tilting his head to the side as he kissed her passionately.

"Mmph!" She gasped. Her eyes widened as she gently pushed Rindo, trying to get him off but her hands wasn't listening to her. Her hands weakened, her mind was going blank and she was turning dizzy.

She could taste the alcohol that was still in him.

After a few seconds Rindo lifted his lips off her as he looked down at her flushed face.

"I like you" He confessed.

"Huh?" Her mouth gaped to his sudden confession, her face turning into a deep shade of red.

"Fuck my head hurts" Rindo groaned as he sat up. He out his foot down as he stood from the bed then he went out of the room.

"You're up" Ran smiled as he greeted him with a smile.

"Here, I made some hangover soup for you" He said pushing the bowl of soup forward.

"Damn my head fucking hurts" He cursed as he grabbed the spoon then he slowly ate the soup Ran prepared for him.

"I was looking for you yesterday then I received a call from (Y/n)-chan" He informed as he ate his breakfast.

"Turns out you were in her school. She even asked me to make you a hangover soup..." He kept on talking and talking that Rindo didn't care enough to listen and just kept on blowing the hot soup that was in his spoon.

"... You know what's epic? Her face was so red like a tomato. I don't know what happened but it looks like she couldn't bring to look at you cause the whole time she was looking away from you" He added. Rindo raised a brow up. Suddenly a fuzzy memory struck in his head making him slam the spoon on the table.

"Fuck!" He cursed, finally sobered up as he looked at Ran with a look of shock and regret on his face.
