You Can't Kill a Pogue

Kie grabs the flask from JJ's hands and closes it as he sleeps.

"Goodnight everyone" Pope says as he lays down ready to sleep. Kie bends over and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good night" she says. JJ looks at them wishing he had someone there with him. He puts his hat down and turns over looking away from them dreaming about one special girl.

"All right, this is the Gulf Stream. It's gonna take us north right home." John b said to Sarah as Logan was sleeping at the back.

"Home" Sarah said as John b came to sit down with her "hi." She said

"Hi. How are you doing." He asked

"Never better." She said "You know what I was thinking?"

"What's that?" He asked

"Let's get married" she said

"Dont... don't we need like a... a... like, a preacher or something?" John b said and she just shrugs

"What about the rings?" John b asked

"What about rings?" Sarah said "I mean for future reference, I like princess cut. I like emerald but."

"I got an idea" he said as he took off his bandana.

"Never pear shape." Sarah said. John b ripped his bandana. "Princess cut. My favourite" she gasps.

"I give you this sweaty... piece of my father's bandana as a token of my love." John b said as he put it around her neck.

"It's perfect" she said

"Yeah" he said

"By the power vested in me, by the sky and the stars and the sea, I now pronounce us husband and wife." Sarah said

"Through sickness and in health, through rich and poor, till death do us part." John b said

"You may kiss your bride" she said and they kiss. "Can we get a dog?" She asked

"Okay Sarah. Let's just get home first. How about that?" He said

"Let's get a dog." She said

"We have Logan. That's good enough" John b said. "And JJ. There you have two dogs"

"Fair enough" she said

"You know I always thought they would get married first." John b said to her.

"Who. JJ and Logan?" She asked

"Yeah. They were so in love but they were just too blind to see it." He said looking over at Logan's sleeping figure

"Do you think the pogues will be mad at her?" Sarah asked

"At first maybe. But once they hear her explanation I think they will be okay." He said "I still can't believe she was hiding everything about her parents from us"he looked down.

"Hey she's fine. She got away. Even though it probably wasn't the best decision she got away from them and that's all that matters." She said "Now I want to hear more about her"

"Okay um let's see. You know she was actually closest to Pope?"  He said

"What?" She asked

"Yeah. The good boy and the bad girl. Best friends till the end. I have no doubt that he will cry when he sees her" John b said laughing

"Wow that's not what I was expecting. I thought maybe she was closest to JJ" she said

"We'll she had a different bond with all of us. With me it was like brother and sister. For her and Kie they were the only girls so they had the girl stuff to talk about. Pope it was the best friend bond. And JJ was completely different. It was like when the other walked into the room it automatically lit up the others face. It was love." John b said to her.
