Chapter 9: Pied Piper

You know that it's already begun

Yoongi's POV:

After being at the beach and sitting in the sun for a little bit me and Lyn headed inside the house. I told her to take a shower first and I would get us some drinks before me and her headed out to get something to eat. I made some reservations for her and me at a nearby restaurant. I looked at my phone and saw a message from our manager and sighed. I grabbed my glass of wine and headed onto the porch to return his call.

(this conversation takes place in Korean)

"Hello?" Sejin said and I sighed.

"Hello Sejin Hyung I got your message" I told him, getting nervous.

"Yes, well I am sure you have seen the news" He says to me and I take a sip of my wine.

"Yes I have" I said looking at the ocean in the distance.

"Can I get the story of what is going on then?" He asked me and I sigh.

"Yes, You know I am on vacation and I was just picking up a friend, we are on a fishing trip" I said without going into every detail.

"Dispatch did get another picture but we didn't let them publish it, there was a girl in the car with you." Sejin said and I wanted to say sh*t but that might be suspicious.

"Yes, well the friend was a girl" I said, taking a big sip of my wine.

"Just a friend or more than a friend. We don't want any scandals Yoongi" Sejin said, giving me a warning tone.

"And what if she is more than just a friend, why can't I be in a relationship? Sejin she has made me so much better." I tell him sighing

"I know Yoongi I won't tell you to end things but just don't let any more images come out. You don't want Army to hate you and feel like that they are not good enough or anything like that" He tells me and I sighed

"Yes Sejin I understand, Now can I please go and finish my vacation" I tell him downing the rest of my wine.

"Fine, just think about everything please, see you Monday" He says to me and hangs up.

I looked out at the ocean in the distance and then I heard the door open and I turned back to see Lyn. I smiled and got up and hugged her and not wanting to let her go. She hugged me back but I felt her giggle softly.

"What's the matter handsome?" She asked me and I pulled away from her.

"Sejin, but it is nothing, my love. We have dinner plans. I will go and get dressed and ready." I told her walking into the house and she followed me.

"Yoongs, what was the phone call about?" She asked following me into the room. She looked at me and I sighed and started to get ready taking off my shirt.

"Lyn please I don't want to upset you" I tell her grabbing my clothes from the bags getting dressed for dinner.

"Yoongs but it is upsetting you, so please I am not a porcelain doll. I may be a girl and may get emotional but I am not fragile" She says getting upset and I sigh.

"But I don't want to start anything so please my love stop this" I tell her snapping at her getting frustrated.

"Yoongs stop being like this, it is bothering, and seeing as how affected you are it must be either something about me, music, or any of the other guys" She says crossing her arms.

"Fine you want to f*cking know, Sejin saw a blurry picture of me and you in my car and he didn't know it was you but he wanted me to know if I was dating someone and I needed to stop if I was." I tell her getting mad.

"Yoongs my love calm down, we are still ok. We will just be more careful my love. Come here you don't have to get rid of me my love. I am still here" she tells me and placing her hand on my arm and I nod.

"I know but you're everything to me." I tell her and move my arm away from her to get dressed. "Come on, we have dinner plans then we can deal with all of this when we are back home."

She let me get ready walking out waiting for me. For the rest of our trip, we stayed under the radar and kept everything quiet. I dropped her off Monday morning and left waiting to see her back in the studio. 

It was September now, and there were 3 important people to me whose birthdays were coming up. First and most important to me was Lyn's, but Kookie's birthday was actually before hers, then my best friend Jooniah.

On the actual day of Lyn's birthday, we had filming so we decided on that Saturday which was September 5th. We had already celebrated JK's birthday on the first. We had it all special for her. We got everything for Karaoke, Pizza, and Alcohol. I also made her, her favorite cake. Which was chocolate with chocolate icing with strawberries for decorations. We got some soju for her to try tonight.

I drove her to our apartment. She looked beautiful. She had a red skirt on with a white top and some little flats. Her hair was curled, she was just adorable. She was so excited. The past few weeks have been hard on us. We've been trying to figure out how to make everything work. But we are also trying to make every moment at the current time, time matters most to us.

"Ok ready to go in, all the guys are excited." I told her as I parked we ran inside before getting caught by anyone. We took off our shoes.

"LAKYN" Jimin and Tae screamed when we walked around the corner. This caused her to giggle and I smiled loving to see her happy.

"Happy birthday" Jin said, walking over and hugging her.

"Happy birthday Lynie" Hoseok said hugging her as well

"Thank you so much guys" she says.

Jungkook and Namjoon walked over hugging her.

"Hopefully you've had a good birthday" Tae said hugging her

"Yeah did Yoongi give you a proper birthday present" Jimin teased

"Ok OK stop there" I said to Jimin causing him to laugh.

"Why don't we start eating and getting drunk?" Lyn said excited for the night.

We gathered in the living room and started to eat pizza and drink. Laughing and having fun, it was to be a memorable night. I grabbed some Soju and handed some to some of the guys who would drink it.

"You need to try this beautiful" I tell her, handing her a Soju. "Be careful it is a bit strong"

She took the bottle from me and I watched her. She took a strong sip and started coughing. She giggled smiling.

"I'm not sure if this is for me handsome" she tells me, handing the bottle back.

"Fine with me" I tell her, taking it from her and taking a few drinks.

"Let's give them a concert Lynie," Jimin said, grabbing her hands and pulling her up to sing.

They gave us a wonderful concert. They made us all laugh. It was an incredible night. We had so much fun and photos that we are all going to regret tomorrow.
