Think About It

Lucius POV:
Severus and I were now standing in front of some run down house. At first, I thought we were at the wrong property. Olivia is so... proper and clean, I couldn't imagine her living in a place like this.

I look over to Severus to confirm we are at the correct house. He didn't spare a glance towards me, but started waking towards the front door.

I followed him after a moment and we were now standing on the doorstep.

This is when he acknowledged me again.

"Don't be stupid, Lucius." He said

I opened my mouth to speak but he had already knocked on the door.

After a few moments, the door swung open revealing a tired And shocked Olivia.

Olivia's POV:
It was late in the evening and I had just finished putting the littles to sleep.

I started down the stairs again when I heard a knock on the door.

I was startled. I don't get many visitors here in general; let alone at this time of night.

I took my time going to the door. I wasn't wholly excited to host or speak to anyone at the moment.

Once I arrived at the door, I opened it. My eyes widening at the sight. Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy were at my door step.

I knew Severus had been to my home before, but why did he have Malfoy with him as well?

I stood there silently, waiting for someone else to break the silence.

And eventually, they did.

"Olivia, Hello." Severus started with half a smile on his face. "I know this visit is sudden, but I was concerned about your absence. Especially since your siblings would not elude to the reason."

I felt a heavy feeling in my stomach. I wasn't sure if it was positive or negative in response to the two men being concerned of me. Well, at least one of them was.

"And you?" I turned my attention to the blonde who was trying to look into the house behind my shoulders. "I understand that Severus has known me for some time and has reasoning, but what are you doing here?"

Once he caught that I was speaking to him, he straightened his posture and started to speak.

"I- uh- same reason as he. Of course." He stuttered while saying this. As if he was unsure of his own answer.

I raised my eyebrow, about to question him as he was clearly here for another reason, but Severus spoke up.

"Please, may we come in?"

To be honest, I didn't want Lucius in my house. I've only spoken to once and I didn't love it. But I trust Severus and if he truly cares enough to come here at this time, I might as well let them in.

"Sure." They started following me towards the sitting room. "May I get you two some tea?"

"Yes please." Severus replied.

"Got anything stronger?" Lucius joked. But I only glared. He cleared his throat. "Uhm yes. Tea would be lovely."

"Great" I forced a smile.

I walked away into the kitchen to make tea.

3rd person POV:
Severus took a seat on one of the sofas, seating himself quite comfortably in the house.

It was obvious something happened between Severus and Olivia, even Lucius noticed, and it made his blood boiled.

Severus did not care at all if Lucius was there as well, he was happy to be in the home he enjoyed.

Lucius, however, was not happy of Severus' attitude, Olivia barely paid any attention towards himself and he wanted it so badly.

Olivia walked back into the room, handed the men their tea and took a seat of her own. The room had such awkward energy it was uncomfortable to be in.

"So. What do you want to know?" Olivia broke the silence.

The tension could be cut with a knife. All three of them had questions that could never be answered as they stared deep into each other's eyes.

Severus was preparing himself to ease the conversation into the real reason he was there, just... slowly.

Lucius had another plan.

"Why aren't you at Hogwarts?"

Olivia squirmed slightly in her chair. She felt small in front of the two men she undeniably was attracted to. She realized that they were going to find out eventually, and just gave in.

"My mother, she left"

"Well where is she? A work trip?" Lucius was now peering around the room, clearly confused as to why This made it so she couldn't see him at Hogwarts ever.

"I don't know." Olivia said it with such sorrow, it was obvious to both of the men what happened.

Her mother, had abandoned them.

It was quiet. Silent. And Olivia was dying for someone to speak.

But no one did.

So she awkwardly finished her tea and stood up. "I think it's time for you two to leave." She said trying not to be too rude.

"Yes, I am sorry for barging in this late" Severus said with a smile and left outside.

Lucius stepped closer to Olivia and she wasn't as uncomfortable with him anymore, but she still took a step back.

"I am working at hogwarts this year, I was hoping to see you."

"Yes, well I wish I could attend."

"Cant you just... hire a house keeper or something? It's your last year. You should make it the best."

"I don't know if I can do that, leave my siblings with a stranger- it would be too weird."

"I see. But just.. think about it" he said with a smile.

He then leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, pulling back with a smirk as he saw her blush.

"Goodnight Olivia."

Then they were gone.
