A/n: Hey, sorry for not posting yesterday, I was busy with family things. Also happy belated birthday Nishinoya!!!!! He would be so happy his birthday is the same weekend as thanksgiving. Like the food would be the best birthday present. Anyways! Thanks for being patient with my forgetful self. Enjoy.
2nd Person POV
"So Nishinoya, how was...the world?"
Dinner was going well. Everyone was eating, talking, laughing and you hadn't gotten told to be quiet; surprisingly.
"It was amazing." He chuckled. "Did you know that in Hawaii they speak a different language with a different alphabet? And it only has twelve letters in it?!"
"Really? That's insane! How do they have, like, words?" Jiyu asked.
"No clue."
"What was your favourite place?"
"Um... I wanna say Canada but it was probably Australia." You made eye contact for a second. "I wasn't in the city, I was closer to the beach. The hotel was, like, a really small family-owned one and they gave me and three other guests a tour around a bunch of caves, some of them went underwater!"
"Woah."
"Right!"
The conversation continued about school, work, Nishinoya's travels and a bunch of other random things. Once everyone finished their food you walked outside, ready to leave.
"Hey, Akio?" You asked your boyfriend as you stood outside the restaurant. "Can I come over tonight? It feels like we haven't hung out with the two of us in so long."
"I can't tonight, I'm-uh... super busy with school tomorrow and I have... an assignment I need to finish tonight."
"Oh, alright then."
"I'm sorry, N/n. How about Saturday? Just me and you?"
"Yeah, I'm not busy Saturday." You smiled.
"I'll pick you up at ten. Dress for the weather." He kissed your cheek then walked into the parking lot.
"Going on a date are we?" Miku asked as she walked up to you.
"Saturday at ten." You started when Akio just walked away.
"How are you so smitten every time you see him?"
"Same way you are with Jiyu."
They scoffed. "I am not."
"Ask literally anyone else." You turned to her.
"I don't think a random guy would know much about my relationship." they pointed to someone walking into the restaurant.
"Not what I meant."
"I know," she smirked. "You just need to watch how your phrase things."
"I don't want a lecture about how to talk properly, Mr. writer."
"I think you do."
"Guys!" Jiyu yelled as drove up, a little too fast, with her head out the window. "Stop chit-chatting and get in the car! I need to catch the new episode of my show and it starts in.....fifteen minutes!"
You and Miku jumped into the back seat of the car, waved bye to Kiyoko, Nishinoya, Nai, Yamaguchi, Tanaka and Tsukishima and sped off.
Sleep was good, the morning was bad like normal. Breakfast was an apple on your way out the door. Class was boring and the one kid still asked you for damn supplies. Lunch was delicious, soba. Mikkusu was an amazing cook. Sadly you had to do an essay on why you thought it was important to maintain a healthy diet in the sports industry. That was due Monday. You had a date on Saturday and there was no way you would remember to do it on Sunday so you spent the rest of your night attached to your computer. Jiyu brought dinner, a burger, and you ate happily.
