2nd person POV
The thought of you being active completely left your mind that day. Nishinoya managed to get you to run over three kilometres, work out at the gym for an hour then run another three kilometres home. At least he got you food after.
"I hate you." You mumbled, stuffing chicken into your mouth.
"Hey, you agreed to come with me. I didn't force you." He chuckled. "Besides, I thought you could handle it. Guess I was wrong."
You groaned. As much as you complained it was nice that you got to spend time with him again. The two of you had fun and if you were ever going to put yourself through physical or mental torture with someone, you'd want it to be him.
"After we eat you want to go home?" He asked, already halfway done with his meal.
"I need to shower."
"Same. I'm kinda surprised they haven't kicked us out due to 'toxic smells'" He laughed.
"Next time we should shower at the gym." You joined.
"Yes. You should." A waiter walked up to you. "I have to ask you to leave, we're getting complaints about... the smell." The two of you snorted.
The waiter put your food into containers and you made your way home, still eating and laughing about how Nishinoya jinxed your chances of eating inside. Once arriving home you immediately jumped in the shower. You put on sweats and a hoodie and sat on the couch.
"Where did you run off to?" Miku asked when you sat beside her.
"Don't joke about running right now. I went to the gym with Noya." You hugged a pillow.
"Oh! That sounds like a you problem." You sighed.
"How was the double date?"
He smirked. "Yamaguchi and Yachi snuck off." You looked up. "I know. We went pumpkin picking and they ran away in the corn maze. I have no idea where they went but they were gone for almost an hour. The only reason we found them again is because they were buying caramel apples at the same time we were."
"You grilled them right?"
"Of course but they just said they got lost."
"No way. If they got lost they would have called you crying or something."
"That's what I said but they just got all annoyed about how 'they weren't kids anymore.' and we should 'stop treating them like babies'. Or whatever."
"Hah! Okaaaay!" You laughed.
The two of you sat and watched a movie. Eventually, Jiyu cuddled up beside Mikkusu after making a bowl of popcorn for you all. You asked Yachi if she wanted to come as well but she was doing something in her room, you didn't even bother to bug about it. Once the movie ended you went to bed, leaving Miku to carry her girlfriend.
It felt like the weekend went by so quickly. The following weeks went by even faster. Before you knew it, Halloween was only fifteen days away and you had done no planning at all.
"I can't believe you forgot the best holiday of the year!" Miku glared at you as you walked through the Halloween store.
"I'm so sorry that my life doesn't revolve around holidays." You rolled your eyes searching through the costumes.
"Mine doesn't either. It revolves around Halloween. Aka spooky season. Aka the best time of year. Aka the only reason to live!" They said dramatically.
"Shouldn't you, your friends, family and girlfriend be the reason you live?"
"Number one, Halloween. Number two, Jiyu and me. Number three, friends. Number four, my family." They listed a little too quickly. "Besides you guys are basically my family. I only really love a few of those fucknuts."
