2nd Person POV
Why was the sun so bright? You had a singular small window in your bedroom. Also, why was your head pounding and what the hell was under you that was so freaking warm. Rubbing your eyes and slowly lifting your self up you felt a hand softly rub your arm.
"Morning love." Nishinoyas tired voice flowed into your ears like music.
A small smile broke through when you looked over at the man laying on the bed beside you. "Morning, Nishi. How'd you sleep?"
"Amazingly, like, its the first time I've slept in centuries." He stretched his arms up and yawned, "You?"
"Better then ever." That was true, you had slept through the whole night and weren't even in a bad mood this morning. It's as if just being in his presence was better for you.
"We should get up, yeah?"
"Noooooo." Not good enough to willingly get out of bed right when you opened your eyes through.
"Are you two love birds up yet?" Someone knocked on the door, a little aggressively. "We need to clean up. Also we're gonna be late for breakfast." Miku maybe?
"Love stop! Let them sleep in!"
"No! I'm fucking hungry!" Yep, defiantly Miku.
"We'll be out in a minute!" Nishinoya yelled back and you covered your ears at the sudden loud noise.
"You are so loud." You glared at him.
"Why are you acting surprised? Common, up. You heard the man." He gave you a little kiss on the cheek and pulled you out of the bed.
For the next fourty-five minutes you walked around picking up trash, popping balloons and wiping down tables. Yachi made it clear that if the house was even a little bit messy she would get in a lot of trouble with the house owner. They were a very nice person, allowing you to rent their place for wayyyy less then you should have but from what you got from conversations, total neat freak.
Mikkusu was very crabby the entire time for three reasons. One - they hadn't eating anything yet, two - they were cleaning at 9 o'clock in the morning and three - she had to squish on the couch with Jiyu because you and Nishinoya were..... celebrating your new relationship..... for the majority of the night and they were supposed to share a room with you. See at this house there were three bedrooms, each with two double beds. That meant there were four people in each room, two on each bed. Tsukishima, Kana, Yamaguhci and Yachi had the room on the second floor, closest to the stairs. Kiyoko, Tanaka, Nai and Addie shared the other room upstairs while you and Nishinoya got the one downstairs. All to yourselves.
All of you went to a restaurant for breakfast then went your separate ways.
New Years was a very strange thing. It was seen as a time where everything would change and you would improve yourself but.... It didn't really feel different. If someone told you that the party you had last week was just a normal one, where you and your friends just had fun, you wouldn't be surprised. There want anything special about New Years. People claim every year that they're going to be different but the sad thing is, most of them aren't. They try for, like, a month at most then go back to their old habits. Why is it even such a big thing?
You sighed as you sat down on your boyfriends couch.
"What's up?" He asked, wrapping and arm around you.
"Bored, tired. The usual." You mumbled, snuggling against him.
"Ahhh." He kiss the top of your head, "That's understandable. You wanna go do something?"
"Nope."
"Alright." He said through a chuckle.
The sound of the TV played in the back as you closed your eyes. "Yu," He hummed, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
"We will. Don't worry." Nishinoya was a very confident person but, that was the most sure of himself he had ever sounded. Ever.***
Five years passed by and before you knew it, everyone's lives had changed.
Kiyoko and Tanaka new had two kids, both boys. They now owned their very own gym brand with locations, cloths and equipment, and were loving their family life.
Yachi became a graphic designer, very desired by many people because of her skills. She's still with Yamaguchi at this point, five years in, and everyone expects them to get engaged soon but after talking with the two of them you're not sure that's gonna happen for a bit. They now live together, in their own place, and the two of them are thriving in their careers, Yamaguchi getting promoted to engineering manager. It would cause them both so much stress, planning a wedding. Maybe in a few more years but for now, they're happy being boyfriend and girlfriend.
On the opposite side there's Nai and Addie who got married after one year of dating. They had a small wedding, just a close family and friends, and were currently looking into having a kid. Nai was one of the top Baseball players in the country so there was no way she was going to be able to carry a child so that left it up to Addie and she decided she wanted to have a biological child. It takes a lot of time and even more paperwork to get what they need but, those two are some of the most persistent people you know.
Mikkusu realized that her passion was cooking and went to culinary school. Now she was working in a restaurant until, moving his way up to they top and once they get enough money and a high enough status she's opening up her own restaurant. That'll take another year or two but, its going to happen. Their Otherhalf, Jiyu is an actor, c-list, and being pulled into the spotlight fast. Her first movie was a hit and now, 3 movies in, she was starring in and animated one. Even though she was becoming more and more busy she always made time to talk to her friends, the people that matter most to her.
Tsukishima continued working at the local museum, nerd, but was also a v-league volleyball player. He and Kana were living together and even had a daughter. They weren't married or engaged and didn't plan on it but they did wear rings. Not on their ring fingers but their middle fingers, for obvious reasons, to show they were committed to one another. Kana was an author, not as famous as someone like JK Rowling, but they were up there. One book series and three stand alones all in 5 years.
And you, well you were engaged. To the man of our dreams. Hav been for about a year now but there was no rush, the only reason it happened was because Nishinoya really wanted to announce something big. And he did. Twice. Because you were pregnant, with twins. The smile on his face was the best part of the whole thing. When you showed him the test, positive. They're due date is in three months so you still have a bit but their rooms is decorated, yeah you guys got a house together. Thanks to all the money you make from owning your own business. You ended up creating your own sports gym both owning it and coaching there. There was swimming, basketball, track, soccer, gymnastics, and most importantly volleyball. Nishinoya was the head of the volleyball department, doing most of the work there while you were in charge of the entire company. It's was good. You were good. Everyone was good- hell they were great. Almost all of your friends managed to do their dream job. Living in comport with the person they were made to be with, some little people too.
This is what you'd always dreamed and it was perfect. To whomever made this possible,
Thank you.

Okay well, that's it. That's the end. Happy? I really hope that you're all satisfied because I am. Please, have a good rest of your day/night and all others to come. See you whenever I see you next.
