Today was the last day. We'd all be going our separate ways. Well, not me, my brother and Sierra. Or the Original Ducks. Okay so most of the team. 8 people leaving Minnesota. I was going to be the closest compared to Dean. I was going to get my license soon so I could always drive over and visit. That wouldn't be good enough.

I had a six hour car ride ahead of me. We were about to leave. I felt bad Bombay was going to be able to say goodbye to everyone and I wasn't.

"Are you sure you have everything and you aren't about to leave anything behind? Cause the next time we'll be here is probably winter break." Guy asked for the millionth time. He had just gotten out of the shower and was just wearing black sweatpants.

"I'm positive I have everything." I said back, "And what would we come here for in the winter?"

He stood up from the bed where he had been previously sitting "Skiing, Ice Skating, Snowmobiling, I mean we're in Northern Minnesota there's tons of things to do in the winter. Last year after we won the PeeWee Championship everyone came and skated on the lake."

"Well, you know I will definitely be there." I zipped my duffle bag shut and set it down on the bed. Guy had walked around the bed to my side. I wrapped my arms around his bare stomach. A tear rolled down my face, "Don't tell Julie or Connie I said this but, I'm going to miss you more than anyone."

He squeezed me closer to his body, "I'm going to miss you more," he said as his voice broke.

"But we'll see each other for our birthdays, and everyone else's, and Christmas, and definitely Valentine's day." I said not letting go. I knew I needed to be strong so neither of us would cry right now. Even though I had already let some tears go and I could hear him sniffling.

"And we both have each other's rings." He added.

I looked up at the boy who was already looking down at me. "We can also facetime whenever we can."

The door creaked open a small bit. I didn't want to loosen my grip I had on the his back. I turned my head around to see Connie peaking in then peak back out.

"Hey! This is my time to talk to her!" Guy stifled up as a laugh. I laughed at him. He brought his head down to kiss me. He soft lips touched mine reminding me of the first moments I had with him.

He and Adam shooting pucks at me when I was using my catchers glove, talking to him in my hotel room after the first time the team hung out, and even the plane ride where we talked about the Packers.

We both pulled away looking for one of us to say something. I couldn't bring up any words. We kept looking at each other with soft smiles.

"Lyndon! Come on!" I heard Dylan yell. Guy grabbed my hand and my bag while we walked out to the hallway.

The girls who were strangers before who grew to be my best friends wrapped me in hugs immediately. I could hear them start to sniffle. I squeezed them harder.

"I love you guys." I said, "And you know we'll see each other again."

Connie spoke up, "I know but that's like two months."

I laughed at her while they loosened their grip. I moved onto the rest of the boys who had already formed a circle around us.

"Okay let's get the giant hug over with!" I laugh-cried. They then joined in, slight cries could be heard. "You guys have became my family and I've never had that bond. Not even with my softball team."

Everyone pulled away while Adam opened the sliding door for us. Dylan and Sierra walked out first with me and Guy following them.

Dylan loaded the trunk while Sierra pulled up the directions. Meanwhile, me and Guy hugged for the final time before we would see each other again.
