Sitting on the window sill, Kasumi listened to calm music. She hoped it helped clear her mind but sadly it didn't.
All she could think about are her regrets and mistakes.
Daisuke is right... I'm ignorant
How stupid...
Suddenly her room door opened; revealing Satoru.
Kasumi was shocked to see her older stepbrother," What are you doing here? I thought you have practice for the winter cup."
"I asked the coach for a day off. You need to feel some fresh air. You locked up in your rooms for a few days now..." Satoru explained as he sat on a chair.
"I know that it is hard for you to lose your new friends. But you can't just mope around all day long...well these few days long," Satoru continued.
"I know... I just don't want to go outside for the moment," Kasumi replied.
"Just pay Daisuke a visit sometime this day," Satoru sighed and patted Kasumi's head.
Why-oh-he's close to Baji more than me
.
.
.
Kasumi knocked on the front door.
She opened the front door since the door was unlocked; revealing a silhouette playing video games.
"Daisuke..." Kasumi spoke as she walked toward the couch.
Has he been playing video games all this time...
Daisuke didn't reply.
Kasumi sighed and sat on the couch," Give me another controller."
"You know how to play?" Daisuke asked as he gave another controller.
"Yeah...in the previous life...I got into gaming cause my crush plays them," Kasumi explained.
The game restarted.
"By crush, you mean...the one that's not from this world?" Daisuke asked.
"Yup. He's my classmate to be exact. We've been seatmates for 3 years..." Kasumi replied.
Daisuke listened, waiting for her to continue.
"I thought maybe if I get into gaming, he might notice me but...in the end, he didn't. I thought we got closer since we've been seatmates for 3 years...but there's always a wall between us," Kasumi continued.
"My love life is a losing game..." Kasumi said as the game ended with her being the victor.
"Oh- I won," Kasumi said in a monotone voice.
"Another game?" Daisuke asked.
"Yeah another game," Kasumi replied in a soft voice.
"I'm sorry," Daisuke suddenly said.
Kasumi pause the game and turned to see Diasuke's apologetic face.
"What do you mean?" Kasumi asked.
"During the fight between Valhalla and Toman, I got distracted and lost sight of Hanma," Daisuke explained.
Kasumi was speechless.
"Oh... That's too bad..." Kasumi replied.
Daisuke was stunned when hearing those words.
"...Is that all you have to say to me... you should be mad at me that I was the one who caused our plan to fail," Daisuke grabbed her shoulder.
