JULIANA'S POV

After I asked Summer for help with Chapa, those two days came faster than expected.

Summer texted a few minutes ago saying she was on the way here and I was overly excited to see her.

I missed her.

"Stranger approaching" the alarm said. Everything changed and went into school formation. I squealed. "She's here!" I called out. "Who's here?" Mika asked. "My friend" I said. "You have a friend" Mika asked with in a rude tone.

I glared at her before rolling my eyes. "Dad! Summer's here!" I yelled. "Okay!" Dad called out from the closet. "Oh... I didn't know he was in there" I said to the team with a nervous chuckle. I open the door and saw Summer.

"Holy hotcakes" I said in awe. "Hey there, pretty" Summer said as she smiled. Summer got hotter over the summer, holy wow. "H-hi" I stammered. Summer walked in and I blinked before getting my mind straight. I beamed out of excitement and hugged her.

She wraps her arms around me and spins me around in the air.

"I missed you" I said as she puts me down. "I missed you more!" Summer chimed. I smiled and we stared at each other. I always thought Summer had pretty eyes but they weren't as pretty as Chapa's eyes. Chapa's eyes have more mystery behind them and I want to solve that mystery.

With Summer's eyes, I knew her story and could tell there was nothing but warmth in them.

We broke our eye contact when we heard someone cleared their throat to get our attention. We looked over and saw Chapa. Summer looks over at me with a smile. "And you are?" Chapa asked as she looks Summer up and down. "Summer Monroe" Summer said, holding out her hand. Chapa hummed and looked at me. "Why is she here?" Chapa asked as she points to Summer.

"Well-" I began before Summer cuts me off. "What? I can't come and visit this pretty girl?" Summer said as she wraps her arm around my neck. I smiled and locked my hand with hers. "Yeah, you sure can!" Mika said as she walks up to us. I rolled my eyes. I didn't know what her deal was with me but she doesn't like me anymore.

"Hi. I'm Mika" Mika addressed.

"Hi" Summer said. "Right, um Summer... This is Bose, Miles, Mika, and-" I announced before stopping myself when her index finger was in front of me. "Chapa" Chapa says with a sassy smile. Okay then. "I'm Chapa" She added looking at Summer.

"Yeah... Okay. Well, it's nice to meet you all" Summer said. "Like wise" Miles and Mika said together. "You're cool" Bose said. "Whatever" Chapa said as she rolled her eyes. Dad comes out of the storage closet and says; "Oh, hey Summer".

"Mr. Manchester" Summer said. I giggled. "I told you not to call me that" Dad said. "It makes me sound o-old" His voice cracks. "You are old" Me and Summer said together.

"I am not!" Dad said. We laughed. "Anyrays...let's get back to training" Dad said to the team. "Okay. Well, you guys have fun with that. Me and Summer are going to my room" I said as I grabbed her hand. "You have a room?!" Bose and Miles called out together.

"Yes!" I said with a playful smile. "Let's go, Summer" I said. She nods and we walked away. "Wait... Aren't you going to watch us practice and take notes like you always do?" Chapa asked.

I turned around gave her a slight smile. "Sorry... Maybe next time" I said. I looked at Summer and tilted my head. "Come on" She chuckled and we went up to the Man's Nest. We made it in my room and the first thing Summer did was to take the moment to jump on my bed. "Gosh, I missed your room" Summer says as she jumps on the bed. "Well, guess what? It doesn't miss you" I joked.

"Oh, by the way, great acting" I complemented.

"I only learned from the best" Summie says. "Why didn't you tell me she was that pretty" Summer said. "The same reason why you didn't you tell me you got hotter over the summer" I halfway joked. I looked at her while leaning my body against my desk.

"I- I did not" Summer said nervously. I laughed. "Yeah you did the last time I seen you, you had messed up bangs, braces on" I said before lying down on the bed. Summer rolled her eyes and smiled; "Whatever".

"Yeah, uh, Chapa is really pretty, amazing and she's really sweet when she wants to be".

"I know she doesn't think the same way" I said. "Geez, Ju. You're so oblivious" Summer said. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Chapa is totally into you! You're just too dumb to realize it" Summer said playfully. "You think so?" I asked. "I know so" Summer said as she nudged my shoulder.

I pressed my lips together and tried to hide my growing smile. "Trust me. She'll break in a few days then you can tell her how you really feel"She says. "Though, I still don't see why you can't just be straight up about it" Summer said. "I'm not like you, Summer" I told my friend. "I just can't go up to Chapa and say "hey I like you a lot"-" I began.

"-"And even though you're totally out of my league, I think we should be girlfriend and girlfriend!", like what!?".

"She probably doesn't even like girls" I added.

"Yep. That's right! Maybe, this is all in my head!" I said. "Those winks and cheek kisses were just out of friendliness" I rambled. Summer scoffed. "Trust me, Jules. No girl just winks at you and kisses your cheek without a reason behind it" Summer pointed out as she pointed to me.

"She definitely has something for you whether she realizes it or not" Summer says as she grabs my water bottle off my nightstand. I nodded before giving Summer a confused look. She poured the water on my bed. "What the heck, Summer!?" I yelled.

"Relax" Summer says as she rolls her eyes.

She waved her hand around the wet stain of spilled water that was on my bed. She caused the water to float in the air. "Woah" I awed. "New powers" She says, smiling. "I see!" I chuckled. She looks at me and moves the floating ball of water above my head.

"No, no, no. Summer, stop!" I said before she snapped her fingers. The water splashed down on me. "Ugh!" I groaned as I just had the thought to use my force field against her. "Really? This is what we do now?" I said as I moved the wet hair and tucked it behind my ears.

"Why did I invite you over again?" Summer just hysterically laughs at me.
