THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Are seriously not going to talk about the day you had with your mom?" Bose asked.

"There's nothing really to talk about" Julie shrugs.

"I mean we went to the mall, ate food, and talked. Nothing too exciting" She said. "Are you planning to hang out with her again?" Miles asked. "I don't see why not" Julie nods. After the short conversation, the team eventually goes down stairs to start their training together.

Mika, Bose and Miles are the first to leave the Mans nest as Chapa and Julie were still upstairs.

Just as Julie was about to take a seat in her chair, Chapa grabs her hand. Julie gives her questioning look as she moved away from the chair. "Hey" Chapa gave her a soft smile. "Hey" Julie replied with a bigger smile. "You okay?" Chapa asked. "Yeah. Totally fine" Juliana nods. "Why do you ask?" She asks.

"No reason. It's just that you seem out of it... since your day with your mom" Chapa explained; "Did something happen?".

"No. Everything went great, really it did!" Julie says, moving over to sit in the booth.

"But?" Chapa questions, joining her across the booth.

"But, I just keep thinking about how I've never been to actual school before!" Juliana admits. Chapa raised a brow as she sat back and listened. "I mean, it's just there!" She says. "Like no actual Math or English classes! No real food fights that you would normally see on tv, and no school dances!".

"When are we actually going to learn something?" The girl questions.

"All we do here is train to fight criminals" Julie huffs.

"And as much as I love doing that with you guys and us just hanging out" She said, playing around with her beaded bracelets; "I don't know... I guess, I'm wishing for a change".

"You hate change, J" Chapa reminds her.

"Yeah but if it means that I get to be in an actual school then that's fine" Juliana stated. Chapa stiffly nods as she goes back to the chairs. Juliana follows behind her. The two girls took their seats and their chair's dropped them into the SWAG classroom.

"So, what are you going to do about it? The whole school thing?" Chapa asked as she and Juliana walked over to a corner away from the team.

"I don't know" Julie shrugs again. "I'm not leaving if that's what you're thinking" Julie spoke. "It kind of sounds like that's what you're aiming for" Chapa said, scratching the back of her head while pressing her lips together. "Besides I thought you loved it here" Chapa adds.

"And I'm not saying that I don't! It's just that... everything's not just about SWAG, superpowers, and crime fighting, Chapa" Julie says out of annoyance.

She rolls her eyes and goes into the storage closet for snacks. A vending machine was placed inside awhile ago by Schowz after all Julie's begging. "J..." Chapa sighed as she watched the girl leave. "What was that about?" Miles asked as he walks up to his friend.

"I'm not sure" Chapa responded.

Knocking on a window from a tree, Juliana waited for it to open up.

Mika pulled her eyebrows together with confusion as she rolls out of her bed to her window. She opens the curtain and makes eye contact with Julie. Unlocking the door to the window, Mika gives her a look. "It's you" Mika says. "Hi, can I come in?" Julie questions.

"I mean I guess" Mika nods, allowing the girl into her room.

"Thanks" Juliana sighed as she makes inside. "What're you doing here?" Mika asked as she faced her enemy. "Its a lot going on for me right now and I needed to clear my head" Julie answered, sitting in Mika's beanbag chair. "So you came here out of places" Mika questions.

She walked the small distance to her spot in bed as Juliana Manchester spoke.

"Well it's not like I can teleport to wherever" Julie sassed. "That's true" Mika nodded. "Truthfully, I figured it was high time for you and I to talk" Juliana told Mika. Mika looks away from her phone and turned her attention back towards the girl in her room.

"What have I ever done to you Mika?" Julie asked, fidgeting with her bracelets; "Besides the whole situation with Chapa".

Mika glared at the other in her room as silence filled the air. "I envy you. Like a lot" Mika admits. "What?" Julie thought on the response. "-You're the exact mixture of flawed and perfect" Mika huffs, beginning her rant. "You made friendships seem so easy when you first met- well joined the team" Mika said.

"You're talented and you have an amazing personality that makes you fun to be around" She continued; "You didn't have to try so hard to fit in, you just fitted in".

"So, I envy you for that" Mika gulped as she held her tears back. Julie easily noticed this and removed herself from the beanbag and goes over to Mika's bed. "Believe it or not, it was hard fitting in with this team" Mika said. "I was the only one who didn't have powers for a while but even when they did come along I still felt like I didn't fit".

"I messed up everything when I first got my powers" Mika told her.

"By letting all the criminals free after Henry spent his whole childhood putting them away?" Juliana questioned.

"Exactly" Mika lets out a shaky sigh, moving her position in her bed to feel more comfortable. "So when you came along when things were just getting good for me, I fell right back into that hole of loneliness" She stated. "Chapa was the only person who saw me for me when I didn't have powers" Mika says, batting away her tears by blinking. "Miles was there but it still wasn't the same".

"She was my best friend! Then it turned into something more" Mika said as Juliana nods her head in an understanding way.

Mika wipes away the few tears that had fallen before she gained her composure. "I hate the way I treated you and Chapa just because you liked each other" The younger girl sniffled. Mika rolled her eyes and points over to Julie. "She has real feelings for you and I guess I couldn't handle that" She said. "I'm sorry for almost unaliving you" Mika adds on.

Juliana let's out a small laugh as she nods. "I think I can let it slide" She nudged Mika with her elbow. "I thought you would've hated me" Mika says with a hint of shock. "I don't hate you. You're a human, human experience emotions and they can be difficult to handle sometimes" The older girl stated.

"Still you shouldn't have tried to end me but, you know"Julie said with a nose scrunch.

"I want us on a clean slate with everything, Mika" She tells her teammate.

"Let's put this whole hatred-feud thing behind us and focus on the future with our friendship".

"I'd like that" Mika smiled. "Great" Julie returned the same smile before she held her arms out. "You wanna hug it out?" She asked. "Yeah... bring it in, Manchester" Mika replied. They both gave each other an embrace before they eventually let go.

This talk was long overdue for the two of them.
