Ep 14 : My mother wants me dead

"Everybody thinks that they know things
But nobody can say they know me
These drugs are fucking with my head

"Okay"Kabir ended the call as he walked,sprinted actually towards Anaya's location her room like Rishabh has said.

"Sir"Dev stood outside his room as he noticed Kabir and saluted him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Sir,the pen drive you asked for"

"Good work,Dev"Kabir nodded as he walked towards Anaya's room.

A few metres away from his own.

"Tell that to yourselves,maybe it will make you feel better"Anaya chuckled with no real laugh in her voice.

He didn't mean to eavesdrop,it just happened.

"Anaya father -"another voice came and the call ended.

Kabir was pretty sure it was Anaya who ended the call.

"Oh come on in"Anaya said as she turned to face Kabir standing at the door.

"You?I thought you'll still be on the highway, I would have had a sound sleep thinking about that"Anaya said as she flopped on the bed staring at him.

"Glad to know thinking about me makes you sleep well"Kabir answered walking towards her holding the pen drive in his hand.

"You found it"Anaya said rather surprised as she sat up.

"What is in it?"Anaya doesn't answers just tries to snatch it out of his hand as he pulls his hand back making her collide with his chest grabbing her shoulder to steady her and she jerked her hand back getting out of his hold.

"My sex tape actually,hope you didn't watch it"she says bitterly and Kabir knew she was messing with him,again and it was infuriating.

The indifference she showed him,he doesn't know why but it bothered him to the point that it made him mad.

How can she not care about anything?Few hours ago she was out on the road bleeding and now she is here all nicely dressed up like it doesn't mean anything to her-Unit 001,his team,her own life,hell?

"Here"Kabir tried once again,what better offerings than peace as he held his hand out with the pen drive on it.

"You don't really think it's my sex tape?"she asks squeezing her eyes as she took it off his hands and slided the pen drive in her skirt's pocket.

"No"Kabir chuckled lightly "I was just here to ask if you are okay,I mean the wound"

"Yeah"she replied turning her back to him.

"Samar can get you painkillers for that"he says looking at the side of her waist and then when she didn't said anything taking upon the cue he left.

Anaya squeezed her eyes shut as she looked out of the glass window.

She took the pen drive out of her pocket clutching it tightly,she slided the window and let the cold air hit her.

"What do you do when your own family starts keeping secrets from you"she whispered lightly into the dark.

"The one that is not theirs to keep"she screamed as she threw the pen drive away towards the pitch black sky.

Faiz ain't stupid.

If he stole that pen drive she would never find it well unless he cleared it.
