Seventeen

Bruno’s POV

My stomach churned in my sleep and I literally flew out of bed to run to the bathroom. I vomited, even though I hadn’t eaten anything and flushed the toilet. Once I had brushed my teeth and took a shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and looked at the mirror. I was a bit pale while my eyes were red and swollen. I couldn’t remember much after saying my goodbye’s to Drew this morning, but I could feel the pain. I was exhausted and my heart felt like it was broken in pieces. Without realizing it, I had placed both of my palms on my stomach, as if it was calming me down. Poor baby.

I went to my room again and changed into jean shorts and a light blue shirt. It was nine o’clock and that meant that my final exams started in an hour. I had my math exams yesterday and today I’m having chemistry and biology. I have five left. I was really nervous and dad Liam tried to persuade me not to pressure myself, since I always did good in school and a bad grade on an exam wouldn’t ban me from passing the class, but I didn’t listen to him. It will hurt the baby if I keep struggling without a reason, but I can’t help it. I want to study and pass.

Drew would arrive in LAX in four hours, so I had time until he was skyping me. I went to my dads’ room and woke them up. Dad Liam relaxed me when he said that he’ll drive me to school, so I didn’t have to walk and dad Louis got up to make breakfast. I could use some vitamins and food right now.

The table had pancakes, omelets, bacon, eggs and Nutella. My mouth watered and brought an omelet on my plate, before coating it with Nutella. If I saw that before my pregnancy, I would have thrown up in milliseconds,  but right now it seemed delicious. My dads were laughing at me and teasing me and I laughed along. It was funny, but I liked it.

“Your dad used to eat lollipop covered in mustard, so I don’t blame you.” Dad Liam joked and kissed my dad’s cheek.

“Hey! I liked the colours mixed together. By the way, it was so great, you should try it.” My other father suggested and I shook my head, ”No thanks.”

“I don’t want you to get sick, baby. I was the crazy one with your grades, but you’ll do great. There’s no need for more studying. Please. I know you miss him, but that won’t help. How about we go shopping with your dad after you’ve finished your exam?” Dad Liam proposed as he was driving me to school, Valeria and Tom in the backseats.

“Uncle Li? We can go with him.” Vale said and smiled at me.

“We’ll go all together, except if Justin has work to do.” Dad agreed.

We soon reached our school and exited the car. We told Valeria and Tom to go inside, because dad had something to tell me.” I couldn’t tell you in front of Valeria and Tommy, but don’t pressure yourself. I know it’s a strange feeling, but that baby inside you needs protection and care, no nerves, alright?” I nodded and walked towards the entrance. My hands were sweating so badly and I wiped them on my shorts. Valeria hugged me tightly, ”Let’s make you happy, ha?” She winked and gave me her phone. It was a message from Drew on twitter.

@drew.bh: tell Bruno to look at his phone, because I’ve got wifi on the plane. I sent him a lot of messages but he hasn’t read them. love you sis!

I took my phone out of my pockets and logged in on twitter and indeed, I had eight direct messages.

‘I’ve got wifi, babyyyy. I already miss you so much.’

‘I guess you aren’t awake yet. But good luck today! I’m sure you’ll do great.’

‘Why aren’t you awake yet, babe? I’m getting lonely here.’
