Rainbow Quest || Light/Shy Steve's Pov

Chapter 1 - Their unpleasent meeting

The orange steve whose name is Shy. Shy Orange Steve. He is lounging on the sofa flipping the pages of a book he was invested in currently while outside of his home it sounded like ruckus was happening.

A happy one he knew so which it didn't bother the Steve which was reading. He actually liked hearing the optimistic Orange Steves just hop around and just spend their time like there's no end to the fun of today or tomorrow.

It made him smile knowing that probably Funny will come barging in at his door with Loud behind his trail yelling about something stupid he did. Or perhaps Happy with his baked goods.

He loved being an Orange Steve. His community was so accepting , he knew nothing to doubt about.. only one thing currently that he knew of.

Which he put his book down to look over next to him where on the couch was a somewhat formal letter from his Leader and father asking him something... He was glad the leader didn't ask him straight face to face. It would be a bit too much to handle for him and probably would give a rushed not thought out answer he had in his mind

he sighed as he then put a bookmark where he left off in the book before settling it down and he picked up the letter. Reading it as he thought about his answer once again. It wrote..

"Shy Orange Steve. In this letter which i write on the date of [insert date] and arrives the same day to you. I am to propose to you a offer which you can consider for as long as you desire and even deny. In which that is that i offer you to become my apprentice. I do not expect a quick response as i do not mind waiting. Please do not rush yourself for this.

Sincerely, your Leader. "

He was a bit puzzled at the start when he first read the letter. But now it's been over quite a few days but he was still considering it , he wanted to make sure it was the good choice especially as he got the option to view it over.

The steve pondered for a few before shaking it off his mind as he just then put the letter down again and got up from the comfortable couch. He then climbed the latter to his room , he reached the wardrobe taking from there a glove which he has on when going out to assist him if in self defense. In his own defense he says..

"you never know when something or someone may just straight up attack you or.. something.."

a pretty awful excuse but nonetheless a excuse was there , the other through.. he lost awhile ago and couldn't find it anymore. While he shut the wardrobe going to the latter and down before he walked towards the door

The steve was going out for a walk after a awhile of hiding himself in his house. But he suddenly heard a voice actually two voices which where sounding pretty close his home.

"Maybe another chromatic steve came?.."

he thought as he then shrugged but before he could open the door a person with a Orange Steve behind them opened them he was saying something but in quick response he just punched the other person as he then spoke

"W-Who are you?? Get out this is my house! Learn to knock!"

Before abruptly just shutting the door in his face and then going against it making sure they couldn't exactly open it again.
