HarryxOC - Forget Me Not

"Harry I love you." I wanted to tell him before he was wisked away. I know we were probably way too young for such a thing. I know that Harry was my best friend though and I wanted to be with him always. I didn't tell him about the strange letter I received. Maybe I should have. Maybe I would have still been able to stay by his side.

"Everything okay?"

"What do you want Malfoy?" I sighed.

"I'm not here to annoy you. I just thought you looked a little lonely." Draco smiled.

"Leave me alone." I mumbled.

"Look I'm not messing around with you. I think it's utter crap what Potter did to you. Weren't you two best friends? And he just left you here by yourself." Draco shrugged.

"What do you want?" I asked again.

"Why don't you go out with me?" Draco asked.

I didn't answer Draco. I didn't want to, but his words rang out in my head. He was right and it hurt. Ever since coming to Hogwarts Harry had seemed to forget about me. He was famous and loved. Despite all the flaws he had no one cared and he loved it.

"You don't have to answer me now. But here." Draco handed me a piece of paper. "Just tick yes or no when you decide and return it."

I nodded my head and he left. For the first time in years I felt like someone cared about me. Draco was the last person I expected but it felt nice. I opened the note and laughed a bit. The image animated and pointed at the yes box. Even the "no" seemed to be covering its box.

I laughed at this and shook my head. I realised that Draco was actually sweet when he wanted to be. With that thought in my head I ticked the yes block and folded the paper into a plane. Draco walked passed just as I finished the last fold. He was talking to Blaise and I shrugged before throwing the plane.

I laughed at Draco and Blaise as they stepped back surprised. My smile never left as Draco opened the piece of paper and looked around. His gaze stopped on me and he smirked. He tucked the paper into his pocket.

"That was fast." Draco said as he walked towards me.

"You made a good argument." I shrugged.

Draco pulled me up from the ground and I spotted none other than Harry Potter himself. My so called best friend was glaring at us. I chose to ignore him and smiled at Draco. Draco kissed me and out of instinct my eyes drifted towards Harry. I didn't know how to feel about the look of surprise I saw crossed on his face before I closed my eyes and kissed Draco back.

"The fuck is wrong with that pompous asshole!"

"Harry mate."
"What did Malfoy do?"

I sighed as I sat down. Snape would kill me if I messed up the common room again. Fred and George kept prodding me to talk to them but I knew if I started talking I was going to loose control. I had a horrible temper and Tiffaney was the only reason I kept it in check.

"Harry?"
"Earth to Harry!"

"Malfoy kissed Tiff." I sighed.

"She slapped him."
"Right?"
