Karma's POV:
I sat down at breakfast, me and Gakushuu went over our plan for what felt like the millionth time but I suppose Gakushuu really wanted to hammer it into my head. I read the paper he gave me last night over again.

First Half, Day 1: Running and Climbing.

Objective: Get all of your flags and complete the course before the time runs out.

How to stop the time and secure your win:
The person climbing will have to ring their bell that it set at the top of each platform, then and only then, will the time stop.

"Seems simple enough" I said finishing up my strawberry milk in all honesty I was actually hoping Daichi would pull something, it could make the day alot more interesting. I glanced over at where the raven haired boy always now sat only to see he was gone.
..Thats suspicious..thats weird...

I finished up everything I was eating then took a walk around the course with Gakushuu. The strawberry blonde however kept looking around and seemed on edge. "Aye whats up?" I ask stopping him with my arm gently, "I know you saw that Daichi wasn't at breakfast. Karma he might try and sabotage us!"
I looked at him before laughing my ass off "Oh shuu you're getting all worked up, I doubt he's bold enough to even try that, especially on the first day." Gakushuu seemed to be embarrassed of his outburst as he took what I had said into consideration, he knows I'm right but as usual, will never admit that.
2 Hours til start.
I ran laps around the pool with Gakushuu as he had requested, I saw Kayano running around, god knows why, she was most likely just letting out nervous energy.
Me and Gakushuu talked while running our laps, the conversations mainly consisted of the competition, Daichi, camp, the opponents and especially, eachothers interests.
But little did I know, this is where I would make a BIG mistake.
"Karma?" The strawberry blonde said stopping and looking at me.
"Yessssss~?"
"Are you interested in anyone or have you been recently?" he said looking me in the eyes, I had to admit..I did in fact feel something..More...for the strawberry blonde, but OBVIOUSLY I'M NOT GOING TO SAY THAT!! So I thought back to throughout Junior High, I recalled I may have had a crush on Nagisa in my 2nd year, but that faded long ago. I think I had a crush on Itona for like 2 days? Seems about right.
"Karma." I snapped out of my thoughts and before I could think I blurted out "Itona!" seeing as he was the last person I had thought of. My eyes widened realizing what I had just said, I JUST SAID I LIKED ITONA, FUCK!
I mentally beat the shit out of myself for that, I saw Gakushuu's look of surprise then it turned into his calm normal stare, but looked...Sad?
"Gakushuu, I didn't mean Itona..I got mixed up" I said in an attempt to undo what I had just done. He wasn't buying it, not one bit.
"Karma, I accept you. If you like Itona Horibe it's completely fine, I don't mind." Something about the strawberry blondes words seemed sad.
He's sad? Why sad? I DONT EVEN LIKE ITONA! He doesn't believe me...DAMMIT GAKUSHUU BELIEVE ME ALREADY.
I knew I fucked up BAD, I needed to tell Itona about my mistake...ASAP.
