The boys didn't get any sleep, they sat up all night.
Gakushuu looked at the floorboard where he had made the discovery awhile back as the sun rose. Sunlight slowly spilled into the cabin where the two bunkmates sat side by side quietly talking.
Karma told Gakushuu that he hadn't heard any sort of laughing in awhile, which is either a good thing or something else is up. Karma automatically assumed somethings up seeing as this is camp Twilight. Nothing is normal here, however the two boys seemed to be the only ones noticing how odd it really is.
The sunlight spilling into the cabin slowly took the paranoia of the two boys and lessened it. The dark tends to increase feelings of fear so it was only natural.
Gakushuu thought about telling Karma about the journal but decided not to in the end. Instead he started the conversation about a topic he had been thinking very hard about.
"Karma are we..actually friends?"
"Obviously dumb bitch"
Karma had been thinking the same but played it off cool with that response. They were now officially friends...friends?
Soon enough the boys were dressed for the day and heading down to the dining hall for breakfast, the two didn't talk much on the walk down to but upon arrival the friends sat down with plates filled with food.
The atmosphere seemed tense, Karma guessed he wasn't the only one that was anxious for the coming day ahead.
However this thought was disrupted with
one of the camp staff members walked into the large room.
She called for the attention of all of the campers. Gakushuu looked at Karma wondering what it could possibly be.
She hesitated before announcing that today's event will have to be postponed, she explained that one of the campers went missing last night.
Gakushuu's eyes widened upon hearing this news; he had to check that journal.
Maybe he should have told Karma, maybe he should have payed more attention to the others, maybe he should have looked at that book again.
As all the feelings of guilt and anger filled Gakushuu Asano's brain he bit the inside of his cheek. He knew coming to this camp was A bad idea in the first place, he knew something bad was going to happen but now someone has gone missing...What else was going to happen during his stay at Camp Twilight.
Karma looked around the room for someone absent, he scanned each table before realizing...
Daichi.
Where is that little sack of shit now?
Was Daichi the missing camper? Karma looked around the room again only to find everyone else was there.
There's no way Daichi was just missing and in need of help, it had to be a trap or something... Right?
Karma continued to think about this, tapping his fingers on the table and zoning into his own thoughts.
The other campers seemed to be quite sad with this news.
Gakushuu overheard his Best friend, Ren talking to a group of people at his table about... Him? Ren was talking about him?
Gakushuu got up from the table and walked across the dining hall to where Ren and his new camp friends resided.
"Hey Asano-Kun" Ren said in an almost anxious tone.
"I heard you mention my title, so I came to see what you were saying.."
One of the brunette girls at the table spoke up saying something like "Ren was just telling us that you seem to have made friends with that Akabane kid."
Ren nodded in agreement to what the girl had said, "I just don't think anyone expected that from you Asano-Kun..." He said it with a kind of chuckle. Gakushuu could tell Ren probably disapproved of his newly found friendship but in this moment the strawberry blonde didn't mind.
Gakushuu and Ren had been best friends for awhile now, he knew Ren would be able to get over it with time. However he would probably never let Gakushuu live down the fact that he became friends with the red head.
Itona got up from his table, making his way across the dining hall only to take a seat beside the red head, whispering something into his ear.
Gakushuu looked in their direction just in time to see this.
Why did he feel pressure in his chest? What did that short little freak say to Karma? He quickly looked back at Ren as he heard his brunette friend laugh softly.
"Dang Asano-Kun, you really can't let him out of your sights now." Ren said this as a joke however Gakushuu didn't take it as one,
"Am I not allowed to simply look around a room?!" the strawberry blonde spat back quickly before biting the inside of his cheek yet again.
"Woah chill man I was just messing with you...Did you get enough sleep?"
"Yeah."
Karma looked at Itona in shock, he tried to cover how shocked he was but Itona saw right through it.
"I know about what you saw."
