HEY GUYS I AM SO SO SORRY I HAVE NOT UPDATED!!! So much has been happening and I'm officially going to be a junior in highschool this year which is absolutely surreal to me seeing as I started this silly little book when I was 13 and fresh out of 8th grade! I turned 16 yesterday and remembered that I forgot to update this since february....(I AM SO SORRY) Anyways enough about me, onto the long awaited chapter 19! —————
'What was really going on here...'
Was the question seemingly Gakushuu and Karma had been asking themselves since they arrived at camp 5 and a half weeks ago. As the day progressed slowly Gakushuu had had enough of this question and decided he wanted to look into what resided under the uneven creeky floorboard in cabin 18. He still hadn't confided in his red headded friend, Karma about these previous findings, which when he really thought about it he knew he should have long ago. Today was the day he was actually going to show his friend what he found all those weeks ago, 'would Karma be mad for not telling him sooner? Probably, but if anything he'll be glad I told him at all right?' The violet eyed boy thought to himself silently to the sound of his sneakers softly crunching over the gravel on the way back up to cabin 18. Notepad and pen in hand, Gakushuu began jotting down some of his rather strange ideas from that day.
The hot sun was hitting his face more then it had all day. Gakushuu could practically feel his skin getting a painful uneven burn! 'Im practicing going to be redder then Karma's stupidly scarlet hair! I should have worn a sunhat or something jeez!' Gakushuu thought with pure resentment that he hadn't worn a hat that day to protect his face from the blistering heat. It was around 2 O'clock according to his fathers old watch that he had been wearing that summer, meaning the sun was directly overhead making it blazing hot for anyone that spent so much as a minute outside.
'I'd say it's about time for everyone to be getting out of lunch...this is my opportunity to finally tell Karma what I found!'
All this anticipation was practically killing him!
The strawberry blond boy had skipped lunch, although his stomach burned with the yearning for at least little snack he pushed on. There was no time for even so little as a snack, Gakushuu was going to get to the bottom of all of this even if it killed him. That morning he had scouted the gate in which they seemingly could just walk right out of, he had told his red headed friend about this and the two had determined there had to be something else going on. Every possible idea of what could actually the the reasoning for this seemingly easy escape, the violet eyed boy had written down in his notepad that he had been 'annoyingly' in Karma's words, been carrying around all day.
Previously that morning after their breakfast time was over, the counselors had instructed everyone to head to the lake for a group activity. Gakushuu however slipped away last minute by getting Karma and that Itona boy to cover for him with the classic excuse of
"He threw up"
When in reality Gakushuu hadn't thrown up at all. All day he had been scouting the grounds around the camp looking for anything possibly out of place. He definitely found a few things he would call far out of the ordinary.
