Emma POV:
“Can you let go of my door now?” I asked Jack.
“Yes, but One more thing; you can’t tell anyone that my brother and I are vampires.” He said.
“Who am I going to tell my family is dead and I have no friends except one but she moved away 9 years ago.”
“Promise me Emma” he said.
“I promise Jack” I said and then the doorbell rang “I’ll get it”
I then ran downstairs and I opened the door and there was my best friend Kellie. She was the same as i remebered with her long brown hair and brown eyes “What are you doing here?” I asked her.
“I missed you Emma and my family just moved back here” She smiled.
“That’s awesome” I smiled back
“So are you busy?” She asked.
“well my boyfriend is upstairs” I told her.
“Oh okay” She sighed. I felt guilty that my best friend just came back and I already had Jack over.
“Here I’ll go let him know that you’re here” I said so she could hang out too.
I turned around and Kellie put a wet cloth over my nose and mouth; I couldn’t breathe and everything got black. The last thing I heard was “I’m sorry Emma”
Jack POV:
I was still sitting up in Emma’s room and I noticed she hasn’t come up yet and twenty minutes have passed by. I walked downstairs, there was no talking it was quiet and Emma was gone. I picked up her scent and then I realized there was a way too familiar scent along with hers. I vampire speed ran back to my house and Wyatt was sitting there.
He looked at me “What did the guy want?”
I frustrated said “Shit, I was with Emma and I forgot all about it.”
He stood up “Where is Emma?”
I said “She went to answer the door and she never came back upstairs.”
“What if the man took her since you didn’t meet him tonight?” He said.
“He probably did come on we have to find him before something bad happens to her!”
Wyatt nodded “I’ll drive, Let’s go!”
Then they both ran outside and jumped in the car and Wyatt started to drove off once I remembered who the scent belonged to that I recognized.
Wyatt then took me out of my thoughts “So, where should we start looking Jack?”
The thought came to me right away “The scent belonged to…”
