recap: I nodded I took a look over at Jack he just nodded and said “be careful brother…” and those are the last words I heard him say before I ran out to the car and drove home, thinking of a plan just in case Emma was going to be stubborn.
Emma POV:
I was still at the house locked up with Brina since their mother won’t let me leave. Wyatt then opened the door and I saw him come inside.
He looked at me “Emma you need to leave with me”
I stood up “leave where?”
He said “You need to go back to Garrett.”
I backed up “no, never again”
He sighed “Emma he has Jessica and Jack still”
Brina spoke up “What is he doing with them Wyatt?”
He looked at her and shook his head “I don’t know but we need to leave and fast”
“I would leave but I can’t because your mom put some spell on the door so I can’t leave.”
He growled “I will carry you over my shoulders and out that door, if I have to!” then He yelled “mom!”
She came downstairs and said “what do you want?”
Wyatt told her “mom Garrett has Jack and Jessica locked up, I need Emma”
She shook her head “I can’t goodnight”
He walked outside and I heard the car start up. I was walking up the stairs when I felt a hand over my mouth and the person dragged me down the stairs and when he turned me around it was Wyatt, who then compelled me “Walk outside slowly” I did as he said and then he opened the car door with Brina behind me.
He uncompelled me “Are you okay?”
I glared at him “Don’t pretend to care, Jack told me that you’re a vampire.”
He sighed “Emma I’m not pretending and I’m sorry about your family.”
I looked at him “You didn’t kill them?”
He shook his head “No, I could have but it wasn’t me, Now come on”
Brina sighed “I hate to say this Emma but Garrett killed your parents...”
I ran back towards the house, I’ve had enough for one day and I was about to touch the door knob when I got slammed into the side of the house and I let out a whimper from the pain. I opened my eyes and saw Wyatt’s brown eyes inches away from mine and he started leaning. I stood there shocked and tried to push him away but that caused him to grab my wrists and put them over my head.
He leaned in and whispered “Emma, don’t make me mad so I don’t hurt you.”
I glared at him “Let me go Wyatt!”
He asked me with a tone which he was trying to make me have guilt “Don’t you want to save Jack and Jessica?!”
Well, it worked I felt guilty “Yes, but I don’t want to die or get turned by Garrett.”
He let go of my wrists and whispered “Trust me; I won’t let him turn you.”
I smiled at him “I trust you Wyatt” then we ran to the car and he started driving to Garrett’s.
Wyatt finally pulled up the car into the long deserted driveway and Wyatt looked at the both of us “Okay Brina you go with Emma in first while I find Jessica and Jack.”
I nodded “Okay.”
I walked inside with Brina the place was huge just like I remember but it was much more scary this time, I was with Brina but I turned around and she was gone this time I was alone. I walked down a long hallway and I turned around and I saw one of Garrett’s guards. He grabbed me by the arm and dragged me into that big dark open room where I almost got turned last time. I saw Garrett standing there he looked at me and smiled “Hello Emma”
I faked a smile “Hi Garrett, where’s Jack and Jessica?”
He used his Vampire speed over to me and he compelled me “Emma I told you, I would weaken you if you didn’t stay with me” then my vision started disappearing.
I woke up my arms and legs were tied tight and I was stuck in some wooden chair. I saw Kellie collecting a bag of my blood and I started moving and she patted my shoulder “Relax Emma”
I said “How can I relax when he’s taking my blood?”
She said “Sorry Emma”
I asked “What does he want”
She said “he wants to know how weak you got?”
I sighed “I’m not a vampire”
She shined a light in my eyes and checked my teeth “Not yet” She then untied me and walked me down the hall to a room where I saw Jack and Jessica, they had pencils stabbed in their hands, vervaine rope tied their arms to the desks and a vervain dipped cloth in their mouths.
I panicked “Garrett what are you doing to them?”
He smiled “Just playing with some toys.”
