So, now that I've got an idea of where this place is, mabey I can stop going in circles- Hopefully anways. I've been looking for around an hour now, and Mushroom isn't liking all the walking.
"Areee we there yeeeeet?" They asked, wining a bit. "My feeeet hurt,"
"Allmost," I assure them, looking back over my shoulder to check them again. "You'll be okay, once we're done I'll uh- I don't know, I'll get you a treat or something," I shrug. They seemed to like that idea, so I didn't get another winy remark for a while. I finally started seeing what Dark Enchantress meant by 'Not like our land,' It was bright, with blue sky's and green grass.
Makes me sick.
"I wonder what she wants this awful place for," I comment under my breath. "Pretty ugly, huh?" I ask.
"No... I think it's prettyyyyy," Mushroom giggles, looking around with wide, twinkling eyes.
"Eh- How? It's just a bunch of stupidly bright forest," I shrug. "Speaking of, I think I see a little clearing out that way," I paused to look- sure enough, a small beaten path into the thick forest stuck out like a sore thumb.
"Thiiiink that's iiiiit?'' Mushroom asks, pointing to the clearing.
"Yup- Now, all we've gotta do is scare them off okay?" I ask.
"But... arnt they new freiiinds?" They ask.
"Nope! They're uh- Bullying our new freinds, let's go teach them a lesson!" Welcome to the only way I can get them along with this- So off I go- Into a woods clearing with a tiny child in tow. Along and through the path was a small village? How odd- A brightly decorated village with a castle near the front.
"Its so preeeeeeetty," Poison Mushroom laughed a bit, looking around and bouncing a bit on their heels. "I li-"
"The hell are you?!" Somebody barks from behind us. As I quickly turn around, throwing a hand in front of Mushroom in the process- A red headed girl poked her head out of a cookie house. Everything about her was red- Red hair, red skin, Red knife- Oh yeah, she's also threatening us with a knife- Fun.
"Who am I?" I ask, placing a hand on my chest in offense. Time to play up my villian role, I suppose. "I am Licorice cookie, directly working under the orders of Dark Enchantress Cookie herself! And I've come-"
"Aaaand I'm Poison Mushroom!" They hopped out from behind my hand, waving excitedly. "Are youuu my new freind?"
My hand moved from my chest, to pinching the bridge of my nose. "Oh, quiet you! I'm in the middle of my evil Monolog!"
"Ooooops- Sorry!" They frown.
"..." Yeah. She looked less than scared. Allmost amused- Go figure. "Your who now? Working for who now? Eh- I don't care. Got any valuables?"
How incredibly forward.
"Um... No, however I'd like to offer you the chance to leave un harmed! Because I, the great Licorice cookie have come to-"
"Hey Chilli! Who's that?"
Oh my god.
Looking over- This must be who Dark Enchantress Cookie described, that Gingerbrave or whatever. What a stupid name.
"Uh... some emo dude dressed in rags with a kid," She blinks, looking over to him and back to me.
Rags?
RAGS?!
"Excuse me? I'll have you know my evil robes of darkness are incredibly stylish! I look fabulous and quite evil!" I protest.
"Uh- You look like the bargin bin at some Halloween store, dude-" She snorts.
I huff, rolling my eyes. "Whatever- As I was saying, I command you all to leave! Leave this place at once, or face the wrath of the Dark Enchantress and her many associates!" I warn, loosening the straps that held my sythe to my back.
"You hear that? Rags is threatening us!" The girl- I assumed her name to be Chilli laughs. She laughed- The audacity to laugh at me!
"My name is NOT rags, and I'll make sure you remember that when we're through," I grunt.
"Ohhh- How scary. Whatever dude,'' She stepped out of the house, a hand on her hip. As I expected, her outfit was red too. Better than Gingerbrave- Hes naked. "Lets make this quick, I'm allready bored."
