𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐲 - 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨

𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞

Mick and Carolina were paired for interviews for the first time this season,

"When was the last time they had siblings in here?" Mick asked as he watched his sister sit down,

"That didn't consist of our father and uncle," Carolina added as she tried to think about it,

"So let's start this off with how does it feel getting through half of the season?" The interviewer asked as he cocked his head,

"Mick I'll let you answer that one first," he added as he looked at the younger Schumacher,

"It's been interesting having raced for the first time in the same section as her," it was no secret that the Haas driver always loved watching his sister drive ever since he was younger so it was really cool for him to be driving with her now.

"But the break is going to be good," he added in a softer tone as he wasn't used to the longer schedule.

"How are you feeling about this first half Carolina?" The Brit turned to the boy's sister,

"Well, I have gone a lot better this first half than I thought being in a new car with two podiums and one of them being a win." The girl smiled as she pulled her fingers through her hair.

It was recording day for the Ferrari team and the duo was doing a mix of challenges.

"What are you trying to do!" Carolina let out a groan as Charles continued to make a mess,

"Mix the ingredients," Charles spoke in a duh tone as he was blindfolded and behind her,

They were doing a not my arms challenge.

"On my apron?" The German let out a snort as the boy kept on pushing the flour onto her apron,

"Wait that's what I'm doing," the Monegasque let out a laugh as he grew surprised,

"The table in like thirty centimetres lower," the blonde explained as she tried to get his hand back to the bowl,

"You're too tall to be doing this with me," the brunette let out a groan as he wanted to give up,

"We can switch in a bit but I don't need this to go from red to white," the girl let out a huff as she looked at the camera,

"How it is going to be white?" The boy asked as he was really clueless during this challenge,

But it made sense as he couldn't see a thing.

"Charles!" Carolina let out a groan as she watched the boy crack and egg,

Missing the bowl and the table in the process and it landed on her show.

"Carolina!" Charles mocked her as he rolled his eyes,

"Whoever decided that this was a smart idea for us to do this," the German looked at the camera,

"I hate you," she added as she sent it an unimpressed look,

"Charles you got shell in the mix!" The boy had cracked another egg but this time it was in the bowl,

And he forgot to hold onto the shells so he dropped them into the bowl.

Daniel and Lando were out as they had just finished filming a video,

"So how's Carolina?" Lando asked as he sipped his water,

"Probably hungry," Daniel shrugged as he didn't have a clue,

"Really?" The Brit chuckled to himself,

"She likes her food," the Australian explained with a soft smile on his face,

"Carolina!" The younger boy called out as he saw the blonde walk past,

"Lando!" Carolina turned to her ex-teammate and waved,

"Where are you going?" Lando asked as he cocked his head,

"To get lunch!" The German explained as she sent him a salute before she continued walking deciding that she didn't want to wait.

"You were right," the Brit turned to his teammate with an impressed look on his face as he was surprised to put it lightly.

"What can I say, I know her." Daniel shrugged as he smiled,

"The girls were right," Lando pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed.

"What girls?" The Australian furrowed his eyebrows as he was all of a sudden curious to know what was going on,

"On the team," the Brit blurted out,

"I've said too much," he added as he slapped his hand over his mouth before he hurried off.

After what was by far the most chaotic race of the season it was now time for everyone to pack up for the summer break.

"Please tell me I'm the only one who forgot to get a date for the wedding?" Carolina asked with a groan as she placed her phone in her pocket,

"Well you're in luck," Daniel turned to the girl with a smile,

"I didn't find one either," he added as he scratched the back of his neck,

"Who says that I would be going with you?" The girl cocked her head,

"I'm offended," the boy placed his hand on his heart as he let out a scoff.

"I'm kidding," the blonde sent him a toothy grin as she giggled,

"I would love to be your date to the wedding," she added as she tucked her hair behind her ear,

"You need to ask me better than that," the brunette spoke in a duh tone,

"Last time I checked you were the one that wanted me to be your date," the German crossed her arms,

"Agree to disagree and just be each other's dates," the Australian proposed as he shrugged,

"Sure," Carolina nodded as she turned a soft shade of pink,

There was a weird feeling in her stomach.
