Ateez were currently a game for an episode of their show. The staff had rented an entire building that was full of jungle gyms and playground equipment, it was huge, and even had a zip line that ran through the entire building.
Ateez were playing a game where they had to spilt up into two teams, one team contained hongjoong, yunho, and yeosang and the other consisted of Seonghwa, jongho, San, and Wooyoung. They each had name tags velcroed to their backs and they were giving a certain amount of money to protect.
The game was basically like tag, the other team's objective was to rip the opposite team's name tags off and get them out of the game.
Yunho and yeosang were currently guarding a large tower that was connected to another one via rope bridge. They stood strong by the bridge guarding their place as they watched the other team rush around in search for hongjoong who was currently hiding inside of a slide.
They snickered as they stood there, determined to lure the others up to them and take their nametags.
Yunho and yeosang watched San and Wooyoung run around and were quite entertained. So entertained that they didn't notice the maknae scaling the tower on the opposite side, a huge maze of netting that he maneuvered around to get to the top. He used his upper body strength to pull himself up to the netting and began to very slowly tip toe to the other two.
As he continued to crawl up the netting, he felt the thin material dip slightly making him lose his balance slightly. he felt his ankle fall sideways on the netting and soon after his entire body came crashing down on top of it as he lost his balance and had nothing to hold onto to stabilize himself.
He bit his lip in immediate pain, his ankle being crushed by his own body weight. He leaned forward, his small body being cradled by the unstable netting, trapping him in a cocoon. He tried to crawl and get up, but he couldn't move, he was in too much pain, and he knew he needed help.
He waited there for a few minutes hoping the pain would subside on its own, but it didn't and was getting worse. He felt his ankle throbbing underneath of him, the skin hot and most definitely swollen. He spotted yunho and yeosang on the tower and realized he was almost to the top.
He gathered all of his strength in his arms and pulled himself up to the platform, his arms shaking as he hoisted his small body onto the foam platform. He layed on the flat surface, his ankle screaming in pain. He sat up and held his foot feeling his skin was hot to the touch and throbbing painfully, his shoe squeezing painfully tight.
He winced in pain clenching his teeth hard fighting the urge to cry in pain.
Yunho tapped yeosang's shoulder and pointed to jongho who he spotted on the other side of their secret base.
"Look, he's trying to sneak up on us." He informed making yeosang quite alert now.
"Well why is he just sitting there then?" yeosang asked noticing jongho didn't seem to be playing the game.
"I'll bet it's a trick." Yunho whispered.
"Well if we sneak up on the other side we can take his tag, there's two of us and one of him." yeosang planned.
"Great idea sangie. Okay, slowly now let's sneak up behind him."
They tiptoed around the other side of the pillar and snuck up on jongho.
