(I love me a good coffee shop AU, so I wrote this! I might make a part two where Midnight and Mt. Lady have more interactions but the Big Three are so UNDERRATED! So I decided to give them a little spotlight, since Midnight was their teacher for a while. I made a ship name for Midnight and Mt. Lady too, it's called Midnight Lady. The one I came up with involving their real names is Nemyuri or Yuri [Since both are Nemuri + Yu, a combination Midnight and Mt. Lady's real names].
If you aren't homophobic and a sucker for some fluff, enjoy!)

"So you're telling me that the League of Ventes is getting better reviews than the Coffee Commission?" Nemuri Kayama, one of the baristas at the Coffee Commission Cafe, huffed over the phone. "Of course it's because of the simps. Of course it is! I don't understand why we aren't getting more customers! It's ridiculous!" The purple haired woman barked irritably. The infamous superhero themed cafe was at constant odds with the chain's rival, League of Ventes. Since both coffee chains boomed in Japan, they've been in a rivalry for customers, funds and all. "I'll be back-"
Nemuri's cheeks flushed a bright pink as she stuffed her phone in the pocket of her apron. Her eyes twinkled while she admired the newcomer stumbling into the CCC's Mustafu location. Her blonde hair swayed back and forth as she readjusted her dark purple framed glasses onto the bridge of her nose. Her soft looking hands placed on either sides of her chest. The potential customer's arms were crossed from holding two file folders closer to her long sleeved purple blouse. Nemuri bit her lip ever so slightly at noticing the dip in the blonde's top. The fabric wasn't too revealing, but it showed enough cleavage to get her attention.
"Hello? Hello?" Her friend, Hizashi Yamada, slapped her on the back as the newcomer tried to get her attention. "Stop it, Hizashi!" Nemuri glared at him before giving the newcomer one of her signature smiles. "Welcome to the Triple C, what can we get you?" She greeted her brightly. "Actually I'm not here for a drink. I'm Yu Takedayama. I applied for a job interview today a few days ago." Yu replied professionally. "Really?" Nemuri raised a brow.
"Yes, I've been interested in working at this location for a while now. The location is nice, I've heard the drinks are better here than at other locations, and the work dynamic is supposed to be functional yet family-like." The newcomer spoke in the same tone. "Well, you chose the right place! I'm sure Aizawa would be more than happy to interview you for the position you want." Hizashi chirped and opened the flap-door attached to a part of the counter. "Right this way, Miss Takedayama." The usually noisy blonde cued for her to follow him.
"Oi! You like her!! Don't you, Miss Midnight?" Nejire Hado, one of her newer coworkers, teased childishly. "That's none of your business, Hado." She scowled. "It looked to me like you like her." Nejire's friend who also worked at the cafe, Tamaki Amajiki, mumbled sheepishly. "We could help if you want!" Mirio Togata, Nejire's friend and Tamaki's boyfriend, chimed in supportively. "No, no. You three don't have to do that. Wait, does that mean you've been eavesdropping this entire time?!" The purple haired woman wheezed. The three third years shrugged, not agreeing or disagreeing with her accusation.
"Oh, you three are on cleaning duty for that!" Nemuri scolded them. The three frowned in response. "But I'm always on cleaning duty...especially the bathrooms...bathrooms are gross..." Tamaki muttered with a pout. "I'll take it for you if you want, sunshine!" Mirio cooed cheerfully. "You don't have to..." The dark blue haired boy disagreed, his voice a little louder. "I will if you want!" Mirio offered zealously. "You three are always so eager to help, but seriously. I have everything under control." Nemuri crooned.
"We're having a poetry slam at this location in a few weeks, maybe you could write something for her and share it with everyone then!" Nejire suggested. "Or you could make her a free drink with your number on it." Mirio gave her his suggestion. "Or you could just... ask her out like a normal person..." Tamaki muttered, a little bit of sass embedded in his tone. "You three are going to embarrass me someday, I swear!" Their employer exasperated. She took a deep breath and let it go. "Perhaps you're right, I should do something. I think I'll make a poem for her, Yu seems like someone who appreciates that sort of thing." Nemuri agreed.
"ALRIGHT!!" Mirio and Nejire cheered boisterously. Tamaki piped up with a "Yay..." in the middle. "You three are something else." Nemuri chuckled as she anticipated the outcome of Yu's interview.
